I purchased an umbrella, which arrived with a critical piece missing. I called on 5/20/16 to have it replaced, and was told I would receive it in 3-5 business days. 11 days later, I called to find out that they hadn't even sent it out because they were "understaffed", but they would send it out later that day. While I was on hold during the call, they hung up on me and didn't call back. I called again the next day, and asked the person who answered (Mike) if I could speak to a manager. He kept refusing to transfer me, until finally claiming that he was the owner of the company. He then informed me that the piece I needed was unavailable, and that I should talk to the store that sold it to me. If I hadn't called Ace Evert repeatedly, I would still be waiting to receive the piece because they never bothered to notify me they didn't actually have it. Meanwhile, my umbrella is still laying on the deck outside nearly a month after I bought it.Stay away from this company!
