Best happy hour in west O. Food is amazing, karaoke on Friday/Saturday nights. Very hands on owner James, highly recommended.
This bar is the best kept secret in all of Omaha. Great food and prices, karaoke on Friday/Saturdays and a really cool small town feel.
We came there last Thursday with a group of 12, they had two waitresses on our party. The service was terrible for a classy restaurant. I ordered the petite filet medium which was almost burnt. My boyfriends food was not even ordered. The receipt was not itemized, as I’m sure it was not correct. Very disappointed in this place, would not go back
Terrible!!! We sat there at the bar for 8 minutes, as a young boy (who looked about 16), stood guard. The female bartender never once looked our way, and was at the other end of the bar, chit chatting and hugging on people. Finally a guy came up and took our drink order. The female bartender addressed us once, taking our food order, nachos. The food was awful, stale flour chips, barely melted shredded cheese and way to much diced tomatoes. No one ever checked on us again. The place wasn't even packed. I remember when it was RumRunner and completely packed, but this time, we were invisible. I Will never go back.
Avoid this place like the plague! On-line it is described as "Worlds collide at Ryan's featuring two unique concepts. A high-energy sports bar on one side and a quiet, upscale restaurant on the other side. Enjoy the best of both worlds with friends and family". Well the "quiet, upscale restaurant was closed despite the "OPEN" sign in the window. If you want to eat you must sit in the "high-energy sports bar" which is a far cry from quiet. Although the area is surrounded by big screens showing sporting events, the bartender turned on music that was hard to describe - imagine an organ screaming for deliverance at decibel levels that deafen. We asked that it be turned down 3 times (actually we had to shout our requests) to no avail. We arrived at approximately 5:30 at which time there were 2 other tables occupied in the bar. Despite this, it took over 30 minutes for our order to arrive (1 of us had sliders, l of us had a side salad and sandwich, and 1 of us had a salad and side order of potato wedges). The sliders were described as "Honey Dijon" chicken but came drenched in French's Yellow mustard. Evidently honey dijon decided to depart, as we should have done after having to wait an inordinate amount of time for our food to arrive (all the while being entertained by blaring, piercing "background" music). We choose this place for dinner based on prior experiences with Ryan's other restaurants. WAKE UP Ryan - this place is in severe need of management both in the kitchen and in the public areas. And stop advertising an "upscale" restaurant where none exists. You won't be seeing us again.
We went here for my birthday with a big party and they handled our group wonderfully! Our favorite dishes served that night were their ribs and salmon but, especially the ribs are a must try!
It was wonderful news to know that Ryan is back! Really missed him @ Hotel Deco-----now he is a lot closer to home which means we can go a LOT more often! Ryan is such an awesome chef and soft on the eyes! Congrats, Ryan! Cheers!
Cool Place Run by Cool People with GREAT Food! Had an awesome time during the Husker-Hawkeye Game (even though we lost) We will def be back and we are bringing friends with us.
What a great place! The only sports bar & restaurant combo in Omaha NE. The best food in Omaha and the staff is right on top of things. The smoked Gouda mac and cheese is amazing. And the owners is always there to great you.
Incredible cuisine, and they served up one of the best Bloody Mary's I have had in a very long time! Whether you dine inside or take advantage of their beautiful patio like we did, it is sure to please. The service was wonderful and friendly . I highly recommend this place.
