Loan officer gave false information on mortgage approval. Only to be told no once I found a house. Please please place experienced loan officer in the chair not a person that comes up with stuff off the top of their heads. And avoiding my phone calls sincerely taking my business elsewhere
Suddenly changed the terms of our conservatorship account so that they could collect a $6.95 monthly fee. This is misappropriation of funds! When we set the account up, there was no fee with direct deposit. By strategically increasing the minimum direct deposit, they secretly changed the terms. Bad bank!!! :(
I only know one thing about this so-called bank: They will not provide notary services to people who do not bank there. Meanwhile, there is not another customer in sight. This is so un-nebraskan, shortsighted & stupid!A.L. Kash
Theyre not even worthy of one star. Had a fmaily member get a divorce recently and had to file a BK CH 7. He had a small line of credit with them and they told him he had 10 days to find another bank account since they were closing his down. Now you have 10 days to find a new bank and change all the direct deposit and auto deducts. No other bank I have ever heard of or run across has done that. They SUCK big time!!!
If youre buying a house go through Al! He handled everything even witht he home owners association. He an expert in the industry.
Automated payments over the phone or the internet are only for customers with checking accounts. Payments over the phone cost 5 dollars. In general payments and communication with this company is about the worst I've experienced.
Al is very trustworthy. He helped me through the whole process and made everything extremely easy.

Don't use U.S. Bank for a mortgage company. We refinanced our existing home loan (what should be an easy task that they preform everyday) and it took almost 6 months and we are still waiting on money coming back to us due to multiple errors on "his" part. I had to send the same information numerous times and we always felt like "he" was too busy to remember anything about us. "He" did not cancel our automatic payment with our previous mortgage company in sufficient time so our bank account was over drafted due to having to pay for closing costs which we were not supposed to have to pay. We scheduled a closing date but "he" had to cancel because he forgot about our flood insurance. Our experience was terrible and when we expressed our frustration we were insulted instead of apologized to. We spelled out all of our expectations from the beginning and none were met. Avoid U.S Bank at all costs.
