Pawnshops: 10 Things to Know »
Most people think of pawn stores as a way to make cash quickly or a place to buy an inexpensive ring. In reality, they're a lot more complex than simple buy-and-sell transactions…
I can't believe anyone would shop here for any reason other than location. It is just ghetto as possible all while having horrible prices. I wonder how this place stays open.
I'm new in in town and i was looking for a place to shop, i went online and found Muya's Supermarket. and i really like their service, there nice and friendly i would recommend to anyone who's looking to shop for grocery
Called tonight last minute, having a 50th birthday party for my best friend. She had someone who was going to provide the buns and they called and said that her bakery lost the order and there was no way they could accommodate her order. Well I'm proud to say that my father works for Hy-Vee in Carroll Iowa and my son works for Stoney Brook and they were able to accommodate are needs!
The staff is really friendly and always is willing to help me out to my car. This stor has what I am looking for most of the time when I go shopping.
I love to eat in the café, have a coffee while I get my groceries, and wander around sniffing the flowers in the floral area or having samples of the bakery items. Impressively, the employees even remember my first name.
I liked the store until they started all this frustrating sales gimmicks, such as buy 4 or 5 or 6 even 10 items get $x off. Sends you all over the store to find one more item to complete the group or get no discount. Then if you buy one too many no discount on that item. Now digital coupons you can't get without the app. Just give us a fair price and stop the games.
I was in the new store this morning and the cashier embarrassed me unfortunately I will no longer be a customer
Ever since the store started its operation in this location, we have had nothing but bad experiences. We were so happy to know that we had a Walmart was being built 3 blocks from our home. Every time we went there, we would run into probleA with the self checkouts and to try to get someone come help was like pulling teeth. They are never where they are supposed to be assigned to stay and they were never to be seem. They need more than one person manning the front. There is barely one cashier actually working and in some cases none. Our last and final experience was on Satirday Aight 15th around 10:00 AM. As usual, we our register locked up and no one was coming to help. We waited almost 10 minutes until my husband gave up and took the food to another register.we actually ce for ice in which both freezers were empty. There were at least 3 walmart workers standing around and laugh in and talking to the manager T the time by customer service. Totally oblivious to the customers. Theamaher I think was the tall guy with drk brown hair and I think glasses. He was white, I am not being racist just trying to be descriptive. The other 3 were black women who all looked familiar as the employees I've seen there before. One was usually the one who took care of the registers. As I stood in the middle of the floor waving to them to help us, they did not even acknowledge we were there and continued laughing and chuckling. I am 66 and diabetic and could not walk that far to them eve. Though it was about 30 feet. After we left, we were parked in the only parallel handicapped spot and as we pulled out, a car raced in front of us and came to a deD stop in the fire lane and in front of the store. We could not get around them as they blocked our path. We honked as no one got out after a few minutes. The girl seed to be on her cell phone and when she was getting out fr the passenger side she started yelling at is and her male driver started using profanity at is. Ali and behold... Sure enough, she too was a Waart employee... Still on her phone and yelling at is with no regard that they were parked in the fire lane or that they were blocking traffic... My husband and I decided never to go to that store again and will drive way out of our way to another grocery store before going through that again. Also I you ask someone where something is, they act as if you are imposing on them. Very rude rude store. I think it is the class of people they hire because we are on the border of by about a mile of the worst part of town.
DONT GO INTO THIS STORE IF YOU CAN..... This place is family owned and believe me this family is not nice at all. Cashiers are always rude in some kind of way. The worst thing though is we've had numerous times where they charge us more then the accurate amount. I'm not talking $1 or $2 I'm talking $4 or $5 more. Either way they charge you more so be careful. I think it's there way of tricking people because they have no prices at all on most of their merchandise. I've seen people go in there and get charged a lot for a couple of things and just look weird at there purchase and just pay the cashier. Please be smart and let them know you will not allow them to take extra money from you.
Since they remodeled their store, they're frequently out of items people buy regularly. 75% of the time I'm there, they're out of something I need. Last week it was Triscuits and then Vick's Twin Bag Popcorn. They got more popcorn a week later and only 1 was left. There's only room for 3 on shelf! Also, they have shelves that are nearly on the floor. For frequently purchased products too. You have to scrunch down on the floor to get to them and if the space is empty you have to put your head on the floor to peer into the space to see if there are any in the back of it. The products are frequently dusty and dirty because they are so close to the floor where people's feet are shuffling around. There is no way some people can get down there to retrieve what they need. The problem seems to be that the Kroger products are on the higher up shelves and they are constantly coming up with additional Kroger brand products. Now they have the Simple Truth brand, and for more and more products all the time. I love the products but they are taking up too much room on the shelves.
