Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Store

2725 Harrison Ave NW Ste 500, Olympia, WA 98502

I spent 5 minutes selecting my fabric, and almost a half hour waiting for the cut counter to actually acknowledge my existence, despite being next in line, with no one else around. Very frustrating, all I wanted was 1 cut of fabric. I then head over to the wood craft section, and spend 5 more minutes picking out my items. I noticed that one of the items I wanted was badly damaged, but I took it to the front of the store for check out, hoping to get the item special ordered. I spent 20 more minutes having the customer service lady ignore my existence, helping other people who randomly walked up who didn’t want to wait in the checkout line. When she finally got around to me (she kept apologizing, because she knew I was waiting patiently and it was my turn), she wasn’t listening to me, and was unable to understand her own store’s coupons! Finally we were able to work through all the details, which took about 15 minutes. During the whole process I was very polite, and didn’t give her any slack, even though I am very pregnant and having uncomfortable contractions. I noticed the whole store was complete chaos. Half of the employees were MIA, including the manager. Overall a 10-20 minute shopping trip turned into an hour+ ordeal. Very disappointing!
