2013 I took this car to this shop after diagnosics test and repair list. This shop place me with car care one on term of help finance repairs. I place this car for the repairs of a problem regarding cylinders needed gasket replaced. The claimed it was repaired. I also took this vehicle every three months for oil change. This vehicle was purchased with 134000 miles. It now has 15300 miles and reacts sluggish uses oil. Reads egr valve failure. Which was replaced 3 times.
Six weeks ago this same shop repaired a bearing seal which helped.
This shop was not able to repair the transmission. That too had to be sent out to a reprable transmission shop for repairs. Then the car begins to run real rough like a vacum line is plugged. The egr hose hooks to a metal line to the block. That too was a questionable why motor was performing poorly.
When motor parts are down to the blocks where cylinders are visable those are to be clean from the metal for a smooth surface for gasket and or adhesive. If properly cleaned gasket will seal with correct tourk. If tourk is not correct gasket may not seal properly.
THE DAMAGE BEGINS.
I was told to pay a $94.00 diagnosis fee and if it was the shops fault I would not be charged. Now my car has many problems which due to the services of short cuts will need to be repaired again. I am told to never come back again after paying $2600 plus interest not to come back. Not happy woman here.

NEVER AGAIN! I went to get permanent hand-cap placards due to injury. I walked with extreme pain and a noticeable limp/damaged body. I waited for a customer, then a phone call. Another person walked in & took cuts. RATHER THAN TELLING THE WOMAN she would be right with her after me, she IGNORED ME and began helping her. After several more minutes I finally called her out on it. She REFUSED TO APOLOGIZE or acknowledge what she had done. She refused to provide her name. I will never go there again. Go to Albertsons Auto Licensing & give your business to a place that respects their patrons!

Very rude. Had no concept of courtesy. The customer service was enough to turn me away from. The service of this store.

From oil changes, brakes and alignments, Hawks Prairie does everything for me. When I call, they get me in right away, there is nothing that they cant take care of for me.

I have been using Hawks Prairie Automotive for many years, since I have moved up here. Sometimes the prices might be a littler higher than other places, but they give me good service and nothing has gone bad with what they have done, so I keep going back to them.

I have been using them for quite some time. They have been just awesome. Eddy is just great!

They fix the problem and tell you exactly what needs to be done to your car. Jason has a really good attitude and knows how to talk to you. I have recommended them, and now my church takes their van there for service too!

My car has never ran as good as it has after a visit to Hawks. They took great care of the car and do so at a reasonable rate. The problems I brought it in for were all taken care of. There were some recommendations for future repairs but no attempt to scare me into getting it all done now. I was very happy with my entire experience.

They took care of the car and didnt take advantage of the fact that I may not know all that much about cars. The repair was done at a reasonable cost and they were very courteous whenever I dealt with them.

Everything went fine with the repairs on my dodge, the charges for the parts and labor seemed fair enough, and I was lucky enough to get the Senior discount which really helped me financially. I hope that I do not have any more car troubles, but if I do I will go back to Hawks Prairie.

My Caravan was having problems on acceleration and I brought it here to have fixed. They found a problem with the distributor and replaced it for around $250. The dealer would have been much more and I am glad I went here instead. The car runs great and feels like it has more power.

I was recommended here by a friend who said the place was very honest and nice. I found them to be very helpful as well. They took care of my car and there is no problem at all now. Very happy with the work.

I have only been satisfied with their oil changes. Any time I go in there for something else they break my car and I end up paying for the new part. First time it happened was on a tune-up. They stripped the rotor screw so they tried to drill it out. They missed and drilled a hole into my distributor. They then charged me for the new distributor. The second time was with the same vehicle, they broke the hood-prop and just set it on top of the engine. They didn't tell me when I paid for the work, found it when I got home. It took them a week to get the part and fix it. The third time was my husbands truck. He went in to get his rear-end on his truck serviced. It immediately started making weird noises so we went back and the rear end was toast, so we had to buy a new rear end. Needless to say we DO NOT go to Hawks Prairie anymore.

When I first went there I was hesitant due to being a woman, but they took good care of me. I they fix the problem without having to fix other things that did not need to be fix, I had a major things done to our SUV and they fix it. When I was with out my SUV they drove to my house. While waiting at home for them to finish it came time for me to pick up my oldest child from school, they came and got me from my house and took me by the school to get my oldest child no extra charge. When I go there my truck was just getting finish. It felt like a new truck when I got it from them. I also come go to them when i need an oil changes. The place is very clean and maintain, they know what they are talking about, and they don't do extra thing to make money, the SUV still drive well today, If i leved closer to them, I would continue to get my SUV done there. I would recommend this place to anyone.
