Like many other folks that have written reviews, I had a LONG history of back issues. The staff at Moss were excellent at diagnosing my problems, and implementing a plan to correct and improve my pain issues. I went from barley being able to walk, to a fully functioning 72 year old. No surgery or meds. They did an excellent job of educating me about what I had been doing incorrectly and adjusting me at the office and with an exercise plan, to be done at home. They are very professional, but also very nice people, who genuinely care about you getting better. They have helped me a LOT!!
I brought my 5.5 week old daughter to Moss Chiropractic in an effort to find a way to alleviate her GI pain as she would wake up from sleep (if she would even sleep!) screaming in pain. My pediatrician just suggested putting her on medications for her apparent reflux but I just couldn't do it without exploring non-pharmacological methods first. This husband and wife team took their time to listen to my concerns and were very gentle when evaluating my daughter. She didn't cry at all with them as they seemed to just clear out her stomach - she was a new baby! They suggested things that I could do outside of the practice and continued to follow up during subsequent visits. 2 weeks later she has improved remarkably, takes longer naps and I can interact with a happy baby! I appreciate their kindness and patience and am so grateful to have a happy baby!
As one who had undergone 2 lumbar laminectomies, I was highly skeptical of going to a chiropractor. It was only at the urging of friends that I did so. What ensued over the next few years was a deepening respect for the science of chiropractic, and in particular, for Drs. Raymond and Gabriella Moss. I have been amazed at how much "unwestern medicine" can help to heal the body, and that there are interventions (that don't involve surgeries or taking medications) that seem to get to the root of the problem, not just put a Band-Aid on symptoms. I have come to trust the team at Moss Chiropractic and don't hesitate to refer others for treatment. I am most grateful for their humanness and expertise.
I started having intermittent sharp shooting back pains along with tightness in my lower back a couple of years ago. I have been with Moss Chiropractors in Olney for two years and have found a caring team of very knowledgeable professionals, Drs. Ray (who does the adjustments) and Gabriella Moss (who communicates the importance of back health). They, along with their staff, have provided a very positive experience and outcome where I am sleeping better and am more flexible. I am continuing to improve and would highly recommend Moss Chiropractor and Wellness.
I have been with Moss Chiropractic for over 10 years. It started after back surgery which removed a disk but did not alleviate the pain or restore full functionality. What I was able to do was limited. Moss's techniques were exceptional. Through time I became pain free and have full functionality. I continue with them in maintenance mode that allows me to continue to live a full life. I would recommend them to anyone that is having back problems.
I have been going to Moss Chiropractic for well over a year, and still enjoy going there due to high level of care and professionalism exhibited by Dr. Moss, his wife and the friendly staff. Not only do I feel better physically, but on some levels, I feel better emotionally because I am more in tune with my body. Like many people today, my schedule tends to be hectic and full, but the time spent at Moss Chiropractic is a worthwhile investment that has paid dividends many times over. I highly recommend Moss Chiropractic to anyone seeking chiropractic care.
A friend referred me to Moss Chiropractic and Wellness.
It was one of the best decisions I have made.
Thanks to Dr. Ray, Dr. Gabriella Moss and the entire team They are thorough in their evaluations, experienced in considering the adjustments needed, and straightforward in answering any questions that may arise. They focus on the importance of total health and keep their patients informed about factors that affect physical and emotional well-being. I have benefited greatly from their wealth of knowledge, capability, and professionalism that is also exhibited by the staff at Moss Chiropractic.
Thank you for all that you've done for me.
I have received chiropractic care from another practice in the past. I felt like I needed a change so I searched chiropractors in the Silver Spring, MD area. I feel fortunate to have found Moss Chiropractic and Wellness. The quick drive to Olney, MD has been worth it. The entire staff is warm, friendly and extremely helpful.
When I arrived at the office, I could barely move or function caused by my constant neck and back pain. I have been under their care for nine months and I have seen significant improvement. I am sleeping soundly through the night without any pain. This has not happened in a very long time.
What I love most about this office is that they don't just treat the symptoms. They identify the source of the problem and provide you with the tools and education needed to achieve optimal spinal health. I highly recommend Moss Chiropractic and Wellness.
After over six years of suffering from back issues and sciatica, a friend saw me in serious pain when walking around his property and referred me to the Moss team. I am delighted to say that the daily pain is gone! After 40 years of bending over a computer I learned that my posture was considerably out of alignment. Thanks to Dr. Ray, Dr. Gabriella and the entire team, my wellness is considerably improved and I have a much greater understanding of how to keep it that way. I can even play 18 holes of golf now with no pain meds and very little discomfort. It is truly amazing! I highly recommend Moss Chiropractic to all and am forever grateful for the knowledgeable and personable care I have received.
I was referred to Moss Chiropractic by my primary care physician for chronic neck pain. I have been a patient at Moss since May 2015. From my first visit, I noticed a substantial decrease in my neck pain and now, I am virtually pain-free. I have greatly improved mobility and have been able to return to all my normal activities including, jogging, pilates, and tennis. Dr. Ray has also helped me maintain good function in my left hip, which was replaced 10 years ago, so I can continue enjoying a very active lifestyle.
Drs. Ray and Gabriella Moss, who have been my chiropractors for more than five years, provide outstanding chiropractic care to their patients and others in need of their medical specialty. They are thorough in their evaluations, experienced in considering the adjustments needed, and straightforward in answering any questions that may arise. Moreover, they focus on the importance of total health -- their approach to wellness evidenced by the monthly newsletters, sent via email, that keep their patients informed about factors that affect physical and emotional well-being. I have benefited greatly from their wealth of knowledge, capability, and professionalism -- a professionalism that is also exhibited by the staff at Moss Chiropractic. Kudos to the Drs. Moss! And thank you for all that you've done for me.
My initial visit was to resolve a strong low back pain, which was achieved with a few visits. The total body posture evaluation showed some adjustments that needed to be worked on . The past few months have shown great progress. The team at Moss Chiropractic has been both encouraging and nurturing, while keeping my "pedal to teh metal".
I came to this office under the recommendations of a trusted friend. Prior to coming to this office I had gone to my primary care, a second opinion, and orthopedic surgeon/physical therapy in Northern Virginia to help me recover from what appeared to be a simple case of tendonitis in both ankles. I had it pretty good with Tricare and VA healthcare compared to the experience I had with those doctors. To say the least I forked over over $400 out of pocket to these previous docs who couldn't even repeat back how my ankles came to be in this condition, and only spent 5 minutes with me each time.
When I got to this office, I had barely been able to walk for two months. If I had a family to support, I would've been screwed. Dr. Gabriella has put more effort in listening and understanding me than the total of the previous doctors. They did a comprehensive assessment of what was contributing factors to my condition, and Dr.G gave me very thorough explanations for the purpose of each treatment. Within the first adjustment by Dr. Ray the amount of pain, tightness, and aching in my ankle and knees diminished significantly when walking from my car back into my home. The pain continued to diminish over my weekly adjustments. At the moment, I can walk up to 4 miles a day! They were very transparent with the payment breakdown. The staff Kathy, Julian, Jessica, and Rudy have all been great! Their office is run quite efficiently. I've talked about their practice to my closest friends, co-workers, and family. If you have health issue that doesn't definitely require surgery, should definitely check this out as an option.
Drs. Ray and Gabriella Moss are the main reasons I have been able to stay healthy and active. Initially, they corrected my back and knee pain, using adjustments, traction, and orthotics. I now go periodically for maintenance, and continue to feel great! The doctors and their staff are professional and friendly, and I always leave their office feeling better than when I arrived. I highly recommend this practice.
I'm 75 year old, but my attitude and bearing is of a younger woman. I attribute much of my good health and positive attitude to the eight years I've been under the care of Drs. Gabriella and Raymond Moss. Through their practice's introductory course, I learned about the benefits of chiropractic medicine. Their thorough evaluation of me included a comprehensive behavioral questionnaire, xrays, and a posture displacement analysis. The results of these tests set the course for personalized treatment which is periodically reevaluated. The adjustments, stretches, exercises, a heel lift, orthotics, and a new pillow which keeps my neck correctly aligned as I sleep, have resulted in improved posture and controlled pain.
The entire staff at Moss Chiropractic is welcoming. I travel from Potomac to Olney for treatments because I know it makes a difference in the way I feel. Drs. Gabriella and Raymond really know my needs and I thank them for the improved quality of my life.
So one day as I was walking around in Olney Maryland I discovered that there was a chiropractic office By the name of Dr. Moss and Wellness, which I never knew was there. With me suffering from lower back pain for the last two years that none of the other doctors could figure out, I decided to go in and give it a try.
