Agreeing with Mel S. This post office is the worst I've ever dealt with. Our former mailman, Scott, was amazing. I guess we were spoiled. The new mailman, Gary Miller, is horrible. Unethical, lazy, and dishonest hits the nail on the head. He lied about the location he left a package, which caused a wild goose chase for several days while we tried to locate it. He's too lazy to get out of the car when you receive a package that doesn't fit in the mailbox, so he just throws it toward your house (hence, why we couldn't find the missing package). Not only are we missing big items that don't fit in the mailbox, we are also missing direct deposit slips, insurance cards, etc. In addition, Josh Cagley is the worst customer service rep I have ever dealt with. He actually hung up the phone on me mid-conversation, and I had to call back. (For the record, I was NOT ranting and raving until I called back.) Elizabeth, the Postmaster, is generally in Loudon, so this office runs wild and free. There is no supervision here, and nothing gets straightened out. Luckily, the place that shipped the items to me was nice enough to ship them again free of charge. We are now having our packages held at the post office until we can pick them up, because we do not trust Gary to do it. I am also in the process of getting a PO Box at a different location, because I don't want these idiots anywhere near my mail. Consider yourself warned!
WORST service of anywhere I have ever lived, and I am 56. I spend $10k a year with USPS (home online business with shipping) for 12 years and never had a problem until a year ago when I moved to Oliver Springs. My mailman GARY is the most unethical lazy dishonest mailman in the US and his postmistress does NOTHING about the hundreds of complaints for years from people on his route. IE MANY times he scans packages delivered or attempted delivery when he never even came up your road. I know because my desk sits in front of a window that faces my mailbox/road. TERRIBLE USPS service in Oliver Springs!
