John's school for permanent makeup is simply the best.... period. Arty Joe's provides great service and Lisa is very helpful. I love the permanent makeup John applied for me.

John Hashey & his students are by far much more talented than any I have seen in the industry. John is a Marine and a gifted artist. John was a Marine for many years serving our country & yes, he sometimes can come off a little gruff. But when you get to know him, you realize that he does care very much for his clients. He has given me a lifelong guarantee on my work (nobody else does that) for one price (a lot lower than others with far less talent & training). That is far from greedy. John has also fought against poor regulations in the permanent makeup industry. You can look this up on the internet. His students are not weekend students but must complete hundreds of hours. He makes sure each & every one is ready. Some of the reviews I have read about his training of them makes me think they did not or could not complete the course? John has a gift with skin that I have not seen in others. Who else can do a corneal tattoo?

Don"t take my word for it OR anybody else. Look it up on the internet & call them. Reviews are an easy way to bash people without ever having to face them. Especially your competitors.

I'm a medical aesthetician in Atlanta. After several requests from clients asking me to go learn how to do permanent makeup ("micropigmentation") I decided to really look into it and researched many different programs. I have seen a ton of botched jobs, and obviously if technicians are doing such horrible work, it meant that much more to me to find a great instructor. John Hashey has been nothing but the best, and I'm extremely happy and proud to have trained by him. When I first started, I knew nothing about needles, configurations, machines, etc, but John being a talented tattoo artist first, the education and knowledge came naturally. Not only is he highly skilled in his field, he is very giving. Always eager to teach and more than willing to correct botched jobs from women who had originally gone elsewhere. John makes his students master lines on pigs ears before they can even touch anyone's face. If it takes weeks, months, so be it. He will tell you when you're ready to move on human skin, whereas these other "40 hr programs" with their quiet but dinky pen machines are more about taking your money and certifying you quickly rather than making sure you really know what you're doing. I generally pick things up very quickly, and I have very good hand-eye coordination (I'm also an advanced lash stylist so I have to.) That said, tattooing whether on the body or face is NOT something you learn in one week. I was hesitant to go to John because I didn't have all the time in the world to go seek some training where I wouldn't know when I'd get certified, even with his lifetime student policy. However, in the end, I have my certifications now, and I know it's not because I sat through a 40-hr course, but because I worked hard and spent much time honing my skills, John Hashey's way :) Thank you so much, John. You are awesome, and thank you Lisa for being just as awesome and helpful. Wonderful customer service from a pair who really care about people whether or not they are business-affiliated.

I have got three tattoos at Arty Joe's Skin City, one by Bobby, Daisy and John. The Art work is just amazing and thier customer service is awesome. I have also been pierced by Daisy and John, Daisy did my tounge and John a Septum piercing. The attention to detail after care instructions and painless piercings are fantastic.
