Old Town Chicago, IL Night Clubs

The volkan club is the worst place I've been to in my entire life!!! Over selling the VIP section to the point where people were fainting or fighting. I paid over $100 dollars to see my favorite artist (Bad Bunny) and couldn't stay to see him preform or meet him, because of the heat generating from everyone pushing and the waitresses constantly passing behind us, where there was clearly no space. Staff was rude and no body could seem to agree with what line everyone was suppose to be in. The safety aspect of the section,we were In, was seriously scary to the point where if something did happen I am positive we wouldn't have been able to get out. This place is a safety issue and a waste of money. Please refrain from going if your safety means anything to you.

Everything that is prepared is First-Class. The selection of items is always A plus and packaging has been very thought out.

Never got in to listen to the music. hostess and doorman were extremely rude. Plenty of other jazz and blues venues in the area to spend my money. manager tried to be accommodating however the situation was beyond repair.

So it was my sisters birthday. I have come to Transit many times before so I was like "this night should be sweet"! Wrong!!! When we arrived the service was nice and all. We got seated and given our drink menu (For bottle service). The prices do not include the actual price, only the bottle price so i was like OK how much is the total. its like $40 to $60 from posted price. W.e no big deal, next the pole areas (which were reserved for parties but the thing is we were a party too so I don't get it) were off limits. There first excuse was that all the tables had to be filled in first. W.e we can wait, but after about an hour or so they say the pole is only for girls (which BTW I am a guy and I've danced on these poles before). So whats the big deal? Its a DANCE CLUB CORRECT?!? I SHOULDN'T BE LIMITED TO MY DANCING OPTIONS AS THAT IS DISCRIMINATION CORRECT? WHY CUZ I'M GAY? That's when I asked to speak to a manage, The security guard couldn't even tell me the Managers name (the security with the funny hair-do), so then I went to one of the service girls. A manager then comes to me (the one with the OBVIOUS contact lenses which btw DO NOT FIT YOU) and says they are like Walmart and just how Walmart doesn't let you ride on there cars, TRANSIT NIGHTCLUB doesn't allow guys on the pole. Uuhhmmm NO, WALMART IS A SHOPPING CENTER, YOU ARE A NIGHTCLUB. IF YOU DO NOT WANT GUYS DANCING THEN HAVE A POSTED SIGN UP. In my point of view you discriminated against me because i had a boyfriend and you didn't want your club getting a bad rep. I get it, but then again I am a paying customer and should not be limited to my dancing. Its a nightclub and that is the purpose. I would like to speak to a REAL MANAGER because the one in charge that night was rude, Didn't even apologize for the discomfort or anything. Me and my party spent well over $400 dollars and for me to pay so much for that service is uncalled for. you will be seeing my review on every site I can just so people can see HOW TRANSIT NIGHTCLUB IS NOT LGBTQ FRIENDLY!!!!!!!

Love this place! Although I have never eaten here, the entertainment is outstanding and very interactive. Best place for the Blues!

My wife and I went here for our Anniversary and we truly enjoyed ourselves. Great food, friendly staff and wonderful music. No bad seat in the house. Will definitely be back.

Great place to meet new people!

I came here as a business trip form the India. the Whole menu was added a different Italian dishes. Actually i am a big fan of Italian food. we really enjoyed the food. the food was excellent and the service was fast and hot. the staff was friendly and cooperative. Lots of choice in the menu. Definitely worthy visit
