When I gave the "free estimate" results that I had to pay $53.00 for to 2 other local mechanics for their ACTUAL free estimate. They both reacted identically - They burst out laughing and called Pat a thief and said this wasn't the first time they had heard the same thing and taken business away from him for his overpriced and dishonest ways. PLEASE - if you are reading this - CHOOSE ANY OTHER MECHANIC OR AUTO SHOP. Bailey's tried to charge me $350 for a $60 wheel bearing. They have no class, tact, professional skills or business acumen. Abandon all hope ye who repair here. Pat Bailey is a terrible business man, maliciously dishonest, and very, very rude. He's a blight on Olathe. He is simply THE WORST CHOICE YOU CAN MAKE.
We took my husband's car in July 2018 for over heating and no A/C. They proceeded to find all kinds of things wrong in addition to original issue. We got the car back in mid September and 2800 dollars later. In December 2018 heater stopped working, when my husband called they said they would put him on the list but aren't sure when they can get to it. Worst mechanic shop we have ever dealt with. Save your money,don't go here
Bailey’s have replaced my engine,exhaust,tires,ball joints,electrical,and many other repairs!Pat is super knowlegable and always gives the best price around!Will not take my vehicle anywhere else!
My family and I have used Bailey's for a decade or so. They seem to do work a lot cheaper than anyone else. They always work me into their schedule if I need an un-planned repair. One time, weeks after a repair, they called me: "We overcharged you $20 by accident, I wanted to call you and let you know we are refunding the money to your card"I would have never known that they overcharged me $20. It was a very honest thing they did, and I was impressed. Pretty much the only auto shop I trust.
First time customer. Went there to get my tires filled with foam. Was told that tires would be ready for Thursday (drop them Monday). Called Thursday and the person on the phone said he never said it would be Thursday. Felt like "you liar" type of answer. Thought I was going crazy. So I asked to see when would they be ready, he said maybe Friday. So I called Friday, he said Monday, called Monday, he said Tuesday, called Tuesday, he said Wednesday for sure, call Wednesday and finally they were ready Thursday. A WEEK later than he originally promised.What shocked me was this establishment's lock of respect and professionalism. I would be OK if they told me a date and explain the reason. Why would misinform your customer and play with a next day and next day and next day game. My first and last trip. Would not recommend.
Sold and installed wrong tire size then a wheel feel off while driving, lug nuts not tightened. Claims no responsibility. Have to go to court now. BEWARE
They gave me a quote of $500.00 for the repair that I needed and told me that it would be done the next day. The next day, I called them to find out if my truck was ready for me to pick up and they told me that they didn't have a chance to work on it...a week later, after several calls, inquiring when it would be ready, I went to get my truck and they wouldn't release it until I paid them $1100.00 which was more than twice the cost that they quoted. I asked to see the part that they replaced and they didn't have the old part that they claimed was bad. They told me that another part, also, needed to be replaced, however, without their knowledge, that part had been replaced a month before I took it to their shop.I WILL NEVER TAKE ANOTHER VEHICLE TO THIS SHOP, AGAIN!!!
Very Rude and Unprofessional behavior . There is no 0 rating to give them. Because of their rude sales manager, I went to another dealer for my two new cars.
Toby Smith was so good to work with. We first saw him on 04/24/2018, he talked to us like we were his friend, no pressure at all, they didn’t have the exact car we were looking for, he took our information and said if anything came in he would give us a call. We went to a different dealership on 04/25/2018 and that dealership (not Robert Brogden) the other dealership tried feeding us some bs line about how well they “recondition” their vehicles, the “reconditioning” consisted of doing breaks, oil change and windshield wipers...how do you “recondition” break pads, oil and wipers? It was a sales pitch that I laughed at 😂. After that we looked again at Robert Brogden’s web site and saw what we wanted, 2013 all wheel drive Ford Edge SEL 👍we called Toby Smith on 04/25/18 asked if was still there, it was, Toby came in on his day off, 04/26/18, we talked we laughed about coffee and life all while my beautiful wife comfortably and with no pressure looked at the car and test drove the car. My wife was comfortable and relaxed she had all the time she needed to think about the car and make her decision that that’s the one she wanted. We made a deal, bought an additional warranty and drove home in our CLEAN ONE OWNER NICE LOW MILES Ford Edge, Thanks Toby Smith and thank you Robert Brogden Buick GMC! 👍
