Someone called this a poor center and I disagree. My child was in the same class this person cited and I never saw any of the problems she claimed. The lead teacher is a mature African-American woman with more than a decade's experience in child care. My son adores her. I won't claim everything is perfect, but the few times I have had a question or concern, the staff and management addressed it and fixed it. All children go through a transition period and three days is not long enough for a child to adapt to a new environment. I do not know who this person is, even though my child was in the room at the same time. But, it sounds more like separation anxiety than a legitimate complaint.

We have been taking our infant son to this daycare for almost a year and have been extremely pleased with the program. The teachers and staff are well trained and are excellent with children. The tuition is quite high, but it has been our experience that in child care, you often get what you pay for. In addition to a great staff, the facility is immaculate and the hours are great
This school has the highest percentage of qualified teaches I have seen in any of the child care facilities I have seen in three states. The school actually pays to send its teachers to college courses. I found all the teacher to be really loving of their children. My daughter was there for four years before going to Kindergarten where she excelled. Some people will never be happy with organized child care. But if you must work and want the best for your child, this is the place.
Kids R Kids in Olathe, Kansas specializes in educating children from six weeks to twelve years old. One neat thing about this school is that parents are able to monitor their children throughout the day by logging on to a safe secure internet site. They also offer a full day preschool and academic curriculum. The teacher student ratio is also excellent to help children receive the individualized attention they need to learn.
This center is amazing. I have two children who have been attending here for over 2 years now. Thanks to the curriculum taught and the time the teachers in each room have spent with them, they are developmentally advanced. I'm grateful for this center's caring and nurturing environment and would recommend it to everyone I know.
This has to be the best school in the area. We were impressed with all the certified teachers and national accreditation. Talking to other parents, we learned that their children were reading by the time they reach kindergarten. We can watch our children in their classrooms with the camera system. The school is constantly having activities to get parents involved. We are so glad we found Kids 'R' Kids.
I think Kids R Kids is wonderful. My 11 and 12 yr olds have grown up there while I worked there. My fiance's 3 and 7 year olds adore it begging to go to school every day. I've spent some degree of time in every classroom and gotten to know almost all of our teachers very well. The baby room teachers are AMAZING! Then again so are the rest. I've seen a lot of child care centers, through working in them and putting my children in them and you can tell how good a center is based on the way a child behaves. The kids in our center run to their teachers and very often aren't happy when its time to go home. They love being with us and don't want to leave. Many of my pre-k students are reading! My school agers tell all their friends about the summer camp we do every year going on field trips two-three times a week. Could a person really want to spent the last 5.5 years working at a job that is anything less than great? Challenge... you want to see what Kids R Kids is like? Come in! You will be glad you did... talk to teachers... kids... parents...become part of the KRK family :)
My children have attended this center from infants to school-age. As school-agers, they are now only there on school holidays and breaks, since we live on the other side of town. I have to comment that this center has been fantastic and I feel that they have helped to raise my family. As we have moved through the age groups I have seen many teachers help them to learn and grow while feeling safe, secure and loved. The classrooms are divided into specific age groups, so their activities are geared towards their level. When my son was in the infant/toddler classrooms we bonded closely to all of his teachers, especially Ms. Nikki! We love to visit their old teachers, except my son gets embarassed to be called his nickname, lol:) When each of my kids went off to kindergarten their teachers were pleased with their knowledge of the alphabet, basic sight words and other skills that they hope for in a new kindergartener. I feel confident in my choice to bring my family to Kids R Kids Olathe.
The school is great. They have a caring staff and a formal curriculum from infant on up. Recently, they placed Kindle readers in all the 3-year-old and up classrooms. The notebooks are hooked into the Amazon learning site, which is integrated into their curriculum. Our child started as an infant, and now at 4, can't wait to go to school every day. We know she is ready for kindergarten because she is reading sight words and know her alphabet and numbers. This truly is a Learning Academy.
I had 2 kids at KRK over a 3 year time span. I loved so much about it. Loved that they have the video monitoring so I could check in at any time. Loved that they have a separate cafeteria. Loved that they have someone in an administration position there at all times. Loved that they have glass walls in the rooms - helps so much with transitions! Loved that the teachers truly loved my kids! And the list goes on. Are they perfect? No, but no place can ever be perfect. What I found to be most important was the way they handled those situations when things weren't "perfect". Any concern I ever had was taken seriously, addressed and resolved (no matter how petty - you know how new moms can be). We relocated to a new town and struggled to find a daycare that lived up to the expectations we formed with KRK.
