Phenomenal staff! Jessica, a cashier, was very helpful finding the correct chemicals I needed to get my hot tub up and running smoothly. The water is clear and clean. Didn't push chemicals that I didn't need and in fact told me specifically what I wouldn't need to help save me some money as there are so many chemicals it can become overwhelming and quite expensive if you don't know what you're looking for. I will definitely be back.

Just needed a paper filter for my hot tub. Seems like a simple thing, right? I was sent to far back corner to "Parts and Service." One guy asked what I needed. When I told him, the other guy, who also looked like an owner or manager, without looking up, said, "We don't have that." Never looked at me once. Just, "We don't have that." IT'S A POOL AND SPA STORE! My prediction? Out of business by 2018, and they deserve it.
Purchasing the 30 foot above ground went extremely well- Then the fun started. Round one:When you purchase a pool at Family Leisure they do not deliver it to you. (this is brought the the customers attention and I had the ability to pick the pool up) Called an hour ahead to inform them I was on the way to pick up the pool and all related equipment. I arrived and had to search for someone in the warehouse to find out that they did not have anything ready. So I waited and then waited some more. When they finally started loading the pool and equipment I noticed that they were not loading the correct items. I stopped the young men and advised the wrong items were being loaded. They were kind enough to let me know they were only loading what was on their pick ticket. It was the wrong pick ticket. After an hour and a half I finally had all the correct items.Round two:In attempting to get a permit from the city to install the above ground pool it came to our attention we were not given all of the needed items for the permit process. We were advised that the packet of paperwork was too large to scan or fax and that we would need to go back to the store to pick up the paperwork. Arriving at the store the packet of paper could not be found. 15 minutes later the packet magically appeared. 6 pieces of paper. Six!!! How is it that 6 pieces of paper cannot be scanned or fax you may ask? The scanner was not working. So instead of telling us that hey our equipment is down instead we were lied to and told it was so large it could not be scanned or faxed. I will update after the installation is completed- I do not have high hopes it will go smoothly if the front has gone this smoothly. Pool purchased on 5-29-17 promised install mid June. It is 6-21-17.....
Had a great experience! Was concerned after reading some of the reviews but found the staff to be VERY helpful. I have an above ground pool and didn't know if it needed to be completely replaced or just a new liner and motor. Took photos in and Walter in Parts and Service was very helpful and knowledgeable. He could have pushed a whole new pool (even though I didn't need it), but helped me with all the items I did need and got installation setup for me. Thnx Walter! Only thing I was not thrilled with was the pool liner selection, they only had a few 30 mil options, but Walter said the one I went with looks really nice when installed - I will see tomorrow when the crew puts it in! FYI - cost of liner installation is CONSIDERABLY more if you have a deck around the pool! Understandable with the extra work involved, but just be prepared for the quote!
Family Leisure lost my potential business due to their unwillingness to match prices on identical furniture pieces at another local retailer and for showing complete inflexibility in their delivery schedule. This is not a customer friendly store. I spoke with both Holley and Dave regarding the above and neither were even remotely willing to stand by their "lowest prices" claims or meet me halfway on a delivery schedule that didn't require me taking time off work. (Be warned - they only deliver on week days when most of you, like me, are working. They do not deliver on weekends and, according to Holley, are finished with their deliveries by 4pm M-F.) I will not be returning to this store - not like I don't have dozens of other options. I totally agree with other reviewers (recent and going back as far as 3 years ago) that the staff are quite rude and unprofessional.
Very poor service. Lack of knowledge about their pools which is a primary sales point for them. Everything in there seemed extremely over priced.
We recently purchased a spa from them and everything went great. We could not be more satisfied. The staff was friendly, great selection, great price and even better customer service. I recommend them highly.
Not holding true to their ads on tv...says a sale is going on and talking with DOC for weeks. Went in today to buy said pool table , different "sales Prices" much higher at the store then said TV ad. ...not going back
We recently made a purchase but were unhappy with how it looked in our outdoor space. Wanted to exchange it but would have to pay 15% equaling over $300. We will not be returning.
We have called and also walked into the store for information regarding parts and service. Each time we have been treated with rude service / parts people. They don't seem to care a bit if they help you or not. We were told to leave our number and someone would call back - NOT. Had to call back and then got cut off by the guy saying I won't be able to get a price until tomorrow. You would think they have some idea of cost since it's a typical 2 HP motor. Oh well, we've learned our lesson. three times of being treated the same - must be a store wide attitude!
