Sadly, there should be an option for NEGATIVE STARS in our case. I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS LOCATION'S SERVICE DEPARTMENT. Our BRAND NEW 2017 Dodge Journey stopped working within 3 months of purchasing and we had to have it towed to dealership. Luckily, we have warranty so that gave us piece of mind. Got a call back today from service department and were advised that the wiring harness to the fuel injector was chewed up. My husband asked how such a thing happens and the response was RODENTS! We ask why are rodents chewing on this? We are informed many of the parts are soy based and rodents are attracted to them. Better yet, we are informed this is an ACT of GOD and not covered under warranty. Upon researching this we find that manufacturers are aware of this and 2 major makers have class action lawsuits against them because of the issues of rodents chewing into wiring, etc. So, then why are these parts still being made and placed in vehicles knowing this??? My husband was transferred several times and when her finally talked to MIKE, the service manager, he could care less and said that he would not get reimbursed if he fixed under warranty. From reading other reviews in multiple places MIKE is less than desirable to work with. Looks like we will be contacting our lawyers and I will review Mike on every website to let people know MIKE, DODGE and this location do not stand by any type of satisfaction. SHAME ON YOU DODGE. I was planning on buying a new Charger this year as well but definitely will not now knowing the service department, specifically MIKE SUCKS! Only positive is Travell that we purchased car from. He was good to work with but the service department is full of employees unwilling to help in a situation that obviously is out of our hands.
I inquired about a vehicle online and wanted a cash price since I would have been traveling 2hrs away to look/purchase, they would not give me a cash price. So I looked elsewhere, purchased another vehicle and told the salesman that they lost the sale due to not giving a cash price and being upfront. I then told the salesman not to call or text anymore, he proceeded after the text message to call and leave a voice message that same day and then call the next day after that. Their sales tactics is like every other mega dealership and is pathetic for a "family owned" dealership that supposedly strives on customer service.
I never write reviews, but I feel strongly about writing this one. This place is absolutely horrible. We went in to buy a jeep and they kept increasing the price the longer we waited and were unbelievably rude throughout the duration of our time spent at their office. Do what you can to avoid this place.
This place is a scam that cares only about the bottom line and will lie to your face to sell you a car and make money at your expense. I am a recent college grad without much credit to my name. I was sold a car in which the salesman specifically stated "we got you approved for $297/mo for 72 months. They had me drive away and all was good. When I came back to "sign a few things" the finance manager (one of the most sleezy, unprofessional people I have ever encountered) assured me that the deal was the same as what I had agreed upon with the salesman and store manager and he had me sign and initial a couple of places and that was that. I made my down payment and then a month later I get a call from the bank that it was financed thrrough asking for my first payment of $370. I was obviously outraged. I called the finance manager to ask what happened and he started talking in circles and informed me that the salesman and manager who sold me the car have since been terminated. He told me I could come to the office and he will "try and work something out for me." Yeah..right. I went in to his office and he got a copy of the file that had in writing the date that I originally got the car with the payment of $296 for 72 months. He said the financing had changed in between the few days that I picked up the car and the days I signed the paper which was a COMPLETE LIE from what he told me when I actually went in there to sign the papers. He essentially told me there was nothing he could do for me. He asked what I wanted them to do and I said I think it would be fair if you paid the first months car payment of $370- a very small price to ask for the $4,000 that he screwed me out of. He said he would "go to bat for me" and talk to his supervisor at the main location and to call him the next day. I called the next four days with no return calls. I finally got ahold of him and his response: "were not going to do anything-you signed the contract its your problem". Then hung up
3 hours for an oil change with a 3 year old and 1 year old with me. Scheduled the appointment at 10:15 and didn't leave until well after 1pm. When calling and asking a supervisor as to why my appointment took 3 hours, I was told that there was obviously nothing she could say to me to make me satisfied with the situation. I used to love Olathe Toyota. I will never go back.
Test Drive was the start. Then tags and tax. we fail in love with this gray tiguan. we get after test drive get told they sold it. That the 1st, Then they ask for money i understood to be for the tags. 2nd B S. 3rd lie they want more money again for tags 4th they gave us this scuffed up car blk with tan interior its ugly. I hate it so much. Hubby wasn't happy but he loves the model.
Do not buy a vehicle from this dealer! The owner or GM Patrick is completely shady! My fiance and i worked with Charles who seemed nice enough. We had done our homework and though we had found a decent deal. Went for a test drive and there was obviously something wrong with the frond end of the vehicle. I thought it was the struts. We told him the issue with the vehicle and Charles offered to have their auto repair guy fux what was wrong with the vehicle. He wrote up the paperwork with our agreed upon price and wrote down that he agreed to fix what was wrong with the vehicle. I had to leave to take care of my kids and Charles and my fiance finished up the financing. That night i went through the paperwork and there was nothing there about the agreed upon repair work. From then on we got nothing but the run around!! It turns out 3 of 4 engine mounts were completely worn away! Even though they said the had performed a full inspection of the vehicle. Very shady company that will rip you off and then laugh in your face. Stay away.
Their cars are excellent running condition and they truly do no credit check. BUT avoid them. Do ANYTHING and EVERYTHING to get financed elsewhere. The payments are way too HIGH. THEY will enslave you. I paid payments on time without fail for three years. Recently, I missed a payment on Friday. I got off work at 11:30 Monday night and found my Carr shut off. Stranded 25 miles from home without warning. Avoid this dealer. It is last resort only.
Tried to buy a car here with less than perfect credit. The finance department acted like I didn't exist I waited patiently for nearly two weeks to get an answer about financing and receive nothing. I finally gave up and went to Hendrick Toyota and got approved in 15 minutes. must say I'm enjoying my new car from Hendrick Toyota
We went there to buy a new car but we were not able to make a deal. There was no hard feelings our salesman (Bill Cole) was very understanding and he was great. As we got in our old car to leave the car would not start. Bill got the service department very fast to work on it. It turned out that a fuse blew out during the test drive the ford did on my car to see how much my car is worth. The general manager got involved and was very nice and told me that since they were last ones to drive they would fix it on there dime. They even gave me a loaner car to drive while they fix. At that point we were no longer a customer but they treated us like we were. This dealership has it all friendly and professional people, great customer service, and a quality service department. Don't go anywhere else. Go to Olathe Ford for all your vehicle needs.
