If I could give a 1/2 or even 0 stars I would for this company. If you are building or buying in an area serviced by East Central Electric I would definitely think twice about my purchase. During the summer we had major issues all through our neighborhood. They could not supply us with enough power and a results of this everyday for about a month our electric would shut off and on from 15:30-18:00. Then about 3 weeks ago we dropped a Leg to our house. They came out the next day and "fixed" the issue, or so we thought. They gave us a temporary fix and left the new line laying on the ground! Where it has been for the past 3 WEEKS! Today I was told they misplaced our service request and that is why three weeks later the issue has not been resolved. We have called about 10 times in the past 2 weeks. The customer service representatives have given me blatantly incorrect information, the service department has given us dates on when to expect the service completed however, they don't show up to resolve the issue. An example was a service rep. from the service department told us we have been waiting three weeks because of the recent rain. Than today I was told it was because they misplaced our request and serviced the wrong house on the date they said we would receive service. We are not the only customers experiencing these types of issues. Our neighborhood HOA facebook page is packed full of examples just like this. Our payment is paid in full and automatically deducted every month we are never late. However, they can't provide the service needed to resolve any issues and have absolutely horrible customer service skills in dealing with these issues. Had we known this when building our house we most definitely would not have built in an area serviced by East Central!
