This is one of the best places for the DIY person. The prices are a bit high on some things compared to Renters Headquarters down the street but they have a more vast variety and selection.
My daughter was not accepted due to our Income, however that is not the issue. The staff lost our first set of paperwork. I was the one who initiated two follow up calls that turned into a "you'll get a call back". The first follow up, i was told she was approved, the second (days before school starts across the state) she is not approved. I was looking for an apology, it did not come.
As a former employee. Source Unlimited is and always has been a caring and professional place to work. I only wish I didn't have to move away. I know I would still be there.
A safe conformable place to go ; Tues-Sat 11:00AM- 7:00PM . Peer support, cognitive behavioral therapy meetings are optional. Excellent environment to recover and meet caring supportive peers.
Hope it is under criminal investigation and closed down. Best thing for everyone.
This has to be one of the most racist organizations that I have ever experienced in my whole life. I listened to many people refer to parents and children asking if they had that "n*****" coach. The commissioner was notified of many incidents and did not take action against any one of the parents involved in this behavior and continues to allow them to do this in front of everyone present. Many of us have listened year after year to teams say that they let all of their "black" players go because calls were not being made equally against the all "white" teams. One coach even stated he let his "black" assistant coach go and his child after a tournament in Edmond. Apparently Edmond did not fairly call the game but the coach said after he let the "black" coach go he has had no further problems. I know many parents that watch their child ride the bench for 2 out of 3 innings, the one inning played they were in the out field and be at the end of the line up every single game the whole season.... did I mention that the child was the only "black" child on the team. The commissioner at the ball park will not listen or take any of these complaints seriously. I guess that is because he hand picks the teams and he makes sure his "buddies" get their pick of kids and then he groups together all of the children of any color and tries to place them on one team. The conversations with the commissioner are pointless unless your skin looks like his. He will not acknowledge your concerns at all and will not back a coach for anything in the world. He will, on the other hand, kiss a parents behind to their face and then place blame only on certain volunteer coach's. It is hard enough to try to have any conversation with the commissioner with any type of discretion because he allows everyone to listen. The man speaks on things that he does not care to try to understand, he does not enforce safety (he allowed a person that he knew carried a concealed weapon in the park after he was notified), and allows his umps to taunt coach's in front of the children during game play. Immature ridiculous behavior.
Nice comfy and laid back place. Got karaoke on Friday and Saturday nights. It's somewhere simple and relaxing to kick back and relax while having a nice cold beer or a jack and coke. Which ever be your preference.
This store has the best people working for them. Tommy, Vicki, and Nathan are all very helpful as managers and know what customer service means! Mark is a great floor person and helps the customer with all questions and is very professional. The prices at Habitat can't be beat and the quality of the products are excellent! This store is my favorite one of all of the Habitat for Humanity stores. I would reccommend everyone go by and meet the people who work there and find yourself some great buys! Thanks, Shelia -Moore, OK
