The Problem:I purchased a very nice refrigerator with some very small (almost unnoticeable blemishes), everything worked while it was in the store, and I was told I have a 90 day policy. After delivery and set up, the freezer was not cooling and both ice makers stopped working and then they brought a loaner and took my refrigerator to repair.The Ugly:When you call the store for updates on your item being repaired, they are back and forth, whoever answers gives whatever knowledge they may have off the top of their head, inconsistent information, poor customer service, poor communication, no ability to schedule pick/drop off effeciently. The Good:They do follow up, they back their product, Tobey ( the daughter) is very nice, follows up, does her best, and it seems like they are making an effort to have some customer service. Follow up on Previous Review:To the person with the roaches - For all the horrified reviewers, I did not have any problems with bugs of any type.

Let me start by saying that I like to fix things. Things like generators, lawnmowers, and household appliances. I don't do well fixing relationships, though. So, I got this old electric range that needs a part. I search the 'net and I can't even find my model. After many untold hours I find the successor to the part I posses(they've discontinued mine you see), a universal at a large home improvement chain saying I got to order it, wait a couple days. I told him HE might want to wait a couple days to eat but I like my meals, hot and on time. Not my only criteria for meals, but I digress. I find "Associated" and it's right around the corner. Literally. They didn't have the original, I had the only one in existence, but they had the universal. At about 25% less than the chain store. And I got it in less than 30 minutes, not 3-10 business days. Thank you, Associated.
Was without my washer for over 3 weeks! The service guys were awesome, no problem with them whatsoever. They ordered the part and scheduled a return visit. When they returned, they noticed it was not the correct part, so had to reorder. Once they returned, it was about a 20 minute call, and 3 separate times I had to take off work. The last time I called, it was nearly the exact same experience, without my appliance for 3 plus weeks. I will not use them again. Who has time to take off work 3 weeks in a row? Rather call someone who has parts onboard.
Went in to purchase a new refrigerator as mine was on it's last leg or so I thought. Before Tobey would show me any refrigerator she asked me what was wrong with mine. I told her and she said while she would love to sell me a refrigerator I could fix mine for less than $50.00. Told me the part to buy and how to fix it. You can't get more honest than that!! The building is clean, nicely lit and customer service was excellent!! I will be back to buy a garage box and any other appliance I need to replace.
I'm very pleased with this business! I was referred here by another used appliance shop that was out of refrigerators. The appliances were all in wonderful condition- no blemishes, very clean, and very reasonably priced. The owner was very helpful and knowledgable and let us put a down payment on our fridge to hold it until we moved. I will definitely go back if needed and will refer friends here! An added bonus is my 60 day parts and service warranty!
Your technician Patrick was amazing, however, after waiting 10 days to see the technician and 10 days for the parts only half of the order arrived. Patrick installed the 1/2 order that arrived. Now the machine is having the same problem and I need to call and set up another appointment to have the technician order the other 1/2 of the needed parts that should have been included in the original order. This means another 20 days without my washer.
well i bought a washer and dryer set from him.about three months later the washer wasnt spinning right.so i called him and he came out said it needed some spring things after two days he was back.he fixed it for free and its worked great since.he even cleaned my dryer vent return for me.he was great
I purchased a washer and dryer set and within a couple weeks the washer had quit working. I called the store and they honored their warranty with absolutely no problems. My washer and dryer are currently still working great. If I ever need anything else this will be the place I go!
I am very pleased so far. Rick was very thorough, explaining each thing he did. I've had problems before, but the repair has lasted longer this time, thankfully. Just hoping it last longer than before. Sears has furnished my home and the appliances are old, but have worked great.
Worked for a hotel years ago and it was the go-to place for parts and the prices can't be beat.Then when times got tough, they recommended a fix for a fridge and saved us $$$ to buy a new one! great people down there. Recommend them to all family and friends.
