I like the FREE MOVIE RENTALS SECTION at Family Video Store located ONLY at 7025 NW 122nd St, Oklahoma City. If you go into the store, its on the RIGHT SIDE of the Store. Other than that, 2 movie rentals for $1; Dollar movie rentals in another section and the new releases rentals along the Back Wall are $2.75. Most times, Family Video gets the New Releases before (2-4 weeks) Redbox or Netflix. Family Video accepts credit cards and cash.
Great experience but sometimes it can get pretty busy, like on snow days; the lines have six people each. $1 rentals and New Releases are less than $3.00. I don't believe we needed a credit card to open an account, just a driver's license.
This store is an abomination of any grocery store I've ever been to. The associates almost don't exist. The last time I went there, there literally weren't any registers open but the self check outs. Then I ended up waiting forever because the girl in charge of those kept letting people come up to her and just check out because they were too good to wait and making everyone else who had been waiting in line struggle with the machines. And of course we get stuck waiting for her approval for 20 minutes on an item while she just kept doing that. They don't keep things very well stocked, and when they do stock, it seems they do it in the busiest time of day, so that everyone gets irritated that they can't function in the store. Whenever they do decide to put a real cashier at a register, you don't get so much as a glance in your direction. They just grab your things and ring them up slowly. No kindness. The store also smells bad. And most of the time, the produce looks ok when you buy it, until you get it home and cut into it (immediately after purchasing) to see that it was rotten on the inside. The pharmacy is a joke, because even when you get a call to say your rx is ready, it usually isn't and you will wait hours until it actually is. The lines are always long due to this. It has been multiple times that I've made several trips because I just can't wait around for hours at a time to yield no results. I could go on and on about the rude people that shop here too, but I realize they can't control that so I will spare you and tell you it is worth the extra miles to find at least another location, if not another store completely!
This place always has great prices and it gets the movies a few weeks before redbox. My husband and I discovered this place when trying to look for the movie "Pretty Woman" and we fellI in love with this place and it's selection!
Wyll, the owner of All Star Comics is one of those rare colorful characters you meet that enrich your life. He is so knowledgeable about comics and goes out of his way to help you. He has such a vast life experience related to comics and things and that adds to his knowledge I am sure. Tyler, and Troy are like his squires and they both are also very helpful and knowledgeable. if they don't know something, they know to ask Wyll. Sometimes I go down there on some pretext just to hang out and chat with the fellas. They are a great group. Store is well organized and clean. I highly recommend them.
This place is what I think of as the perfect comic store. In the store they have a very big amount of graphic novels, this is what I was looking for at first. They also have loads of comics all the way back to the 1940s, and even stuff for kids and bargain hunters like thousands of dollar and quarter comics. Although I have no interest in stuff like action figure and all I did enjoy looking through all of them. What impressed me about the store itself though was the staff there, they were all very helpful and knowledgeable, they also were very keen to assist and point me in the right direction. Many comic stores I have been to seem disorganized, shabby, dark and unfriendly, this one is anything but. I will be back.
This place I discovered while on lunch. I saw it from the Back Yard Grill restuarant where I was eating lunch. I walked over there and I was very surprised by the selection and I opened a membership on the spot. I live 30 miles from my work at Tinker and I rent movies from them every Friday and bring it back on Monday or whenever my time is up. They have all the new releases and some great great classics i have not seen since I was a kid. I am sold on this video store. I am telling you this is a great store everyone should check them out. Oh and they have the best prices on used games and movies. I bought Gladiator for 5 dollars, it was in mint condition. WOW is all I have to say.Josh E.
A few of their items are a little pricy, but if you're looking for something no one else can get, it's probably going to be. I do like the employees, always willing to research and find things.
