The manager there is one of the meanest people I have ever had to deal with. He is the white skinny guy. I think he was a manager. You could tell his staff was scared of him. I have never seen worse customer service ever by any person, store, restaurant, basically anywhere. I don’t know how he got a job with ups or even in this position at this store. I would like to speak with a general manager about my experience with him because it was that bad. I will be sharing this on yelp and with the other store managers in the surrounding area. Do not go there it is not worth it.
Sitting at my desk at the front door all day waiting for my package which status is "out for delivery", checked later that day to find "Receiver was not available at the time of the first delivery attempt. A second attempt will be made." I can tell you for a fact that they NEVER MADE THE FIRST ATTEMPT BECAUSE I SIT AT THE ONLY ENTRY AND EXIT TO OUR OFFICE!! No notice of any kind was left and certainly no attempt. I call BULLSHIT and have lost complete faith in UPS. The only reliable service left seems to be FedEx. Unfortunately the company I ordered through uses UPS (undeniably Poor Service).
Shipment due to be delivered on Friday between 3:30 and 7:00. Was notified at 5:53 that it wouldn't be delivered because of the 2" of snow that fell that morning. I immediately called so I could pick it up the next day. I arrived the next morning and was told i could not pick it up because it was in the warehouse next door, there was not anyone over there (except a supervisor), and nobody would know where it was anyway. Several other people were there with the same story. Very disappointing that UPS doesn't have a contingency plan and can be paralyzed by a minor snowfall. Meanwhile, USPS delivered both Friday and Saturday on time.
Called the night before my package was going to be delivered to have it picked up at this location instead. Call back the next morning and they didnt hold it for pickup... they just put it on the truck....
Poor service, poor communication, poor delivery, poor follow through. Over the last 24 months UPS has lost multiple shipments, damaged over seventy thousand dollars in servers sent VIA UPS and took over 10 months to satisfy the claim. Started shipment of product from New York halfway to it's destination it took off to Canada, UPS's response was nothing could be done until it got to it's redirected destination.The latest debacle and the last straw that has UPS is on our do not use list is the failure to deliver checks that we paid for overnight delivery (Early AM delivery), but won't be delivered until the second day "NOT NEXT DAY".Multiple calls solicited multiple responses all useless and with general apathy from UPS.
It snowed 1" here 2 nights ago. The temp remained constant between 14&17ºF. My parcel was on the vehicle slated for delivery between 2 & 6pm. Because I didn't want it sitting in the snow outside we waited for it to arrive. At 7pm I get a notification telling me due to weather it was now delayed. I called & after an hour on the phone got a supervisor to call the hub. The manager said he wouldn't redeliver today (Sat) because I didn't pay for it. Despite it being their call to suddenly pull everybody in because of unchanged weather & road conditions. I lived in Oregon for 10 years & this would be considered nice weather up there for Jan. Guess what? They don't hide inside because of 1" of snow because it usually dumps 8-18" easily. To top it all off our family dinner was ruined because of waiting here for 5 hours for something they never intended to deliver. UPS is awful. If you're the recipient they don't care what you have to say or if you're satisfied because you're not the one paying them.
My husband and I went in for a quick notary service and had to wait 30 minutes just for he manager to even notice us (we were the only people in the store). His two employees told him that a customer was waiting for him to notarize something, and he said he was busy. Then after he realized we were standing here staring at him, he yelled at both the employees in front of us. He told them they should have been more clear about what the customer actually needed. Not to mention he smelled terrible! His body odor was awful and stunk up the entire store. I will never be coming back here and I will be sure to tell all my friends and family about this experience also.
My two day shipping on a package was redirected through this hub and has now turned into two week+ shipping, ordered back at the beginning of November, still waiting on the tracking to give off the departure scan from OKC. UPS needs to get on this locations booty about their terrible service, I could have gotten my package faster with free shipping through the USPS and likely in better condition than this piece of garbage service, that I paid $20+ for mind you, Get it together UPS. Hell Get it together OKC, I grew up out there and I think I finally realize the reason I moved away, since moving away it seems like every time the word "delay" gets brought up more often than not I hear the words "Oklahoma City" soon after. Get off your lazy back ends and maybe OKC wouldn't be three letters I dreaded to hear together when it came to any service ever.
This place can't possibly be indicative of UPS in general. It just can't. There's no way they'd stay in business. Trucks typically don't arrive until the sun has gone down in my area, while fedex and usps deliver before noon. My packages are, more often than not (seriously), delayed at least one day. The only time the truck arrives at a reasonable time (say 1pm) is when I'm not home and have to be there to sign for the package. Then I have to go through phone support, hold the package, and drive an hour to the distribution center to pick it up, unless I want to wait through the weekend and be sure to be home again to sign (with no earthly idea what time frame to expect the truck). I hate UPS. I absolutely hate it, and only use it when an online seller forces me to.
If I could give this place 0 stars, I would. If you can get your fingerprints done anywhere else, I would. I could not unfortunately. If you are getting your fingerprints done, you will have to wait until all their shipping customers are gone before they will fingerprint you, even though it only takes a few minutes. Once you get in there and they actually are doing your fingerprints, if a shipping customer comes in, they will go help THAT customer while making you wait, and then they'll come back and finish fingerprinting you. Oh and you HAVE to have an appointment to get them done, but why does that matter, they're not gonna see you at the time you made the appointment if there are shipping customers in there. So stupid. Also, the guy told me my fingerprints are "lousy" for someone my age (I was born with them lol I didn't do anything to them) because I have very fine fingerprints that are hard to take.
