This restaurant was like finding gold! The food is fresh, fast, innovative, and very pleasing to the eye and the pallet. The restaurant itself is spotless, chic, very soothing to the eye, and always as neat as a pin. No clutter, grease, dirt, finger prints, etc. You can tell from the moment you walk up and see the nice signage they have created on the front of the business that this is going to be a class act and it certainly is. Family run and owned, both owners are on site 99 percent of the time ensuring food and service and atmosphere are perfect and they are consistently successfull!! I have had the pleasure of eating at this restaurant over ten times and never have I had a bad meal or less than steller service! They even bring in some very gentle jazz for dinner occasionally and it's perfect! Great Sushi, super other asian dishes to include a fantastic fried rice with shrimp or chicken or beef.wonderful cocktails, and very family oriented although at the same time this is the place to bring a date. I say more ambience than mantles or the other big restaurants in town. YOU MUST TRY THIS PLACE AT LEAST ONCE< YOULL WONDER WHY YOU HAVENT BEEN SOONER!! Owners wait on you and ensure you have everything you need and that the food is perfect to your liking. Lemon Grass Asian Bistro is fantastic!!!!
Ok, hats off to Sherlocks. They have been around since I first started going out dancing in the late 1970's, and this is still my favorite place to dance. The crowd varies from night to night, but seems to draw people over 30, so if you are looking for a place to dance in a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere, Sherlocks is it. Service is consistently good, and the lighting is great. This little club is laid out perfectly, with seating a little bit above and around the dance floor. The music is a mix of hip hop, line dances like cupid shuffle and spanky leg, old rock n roll, country and western, something for everyone. You will see people here in everything from jeans to suits. I have checked out the various dance clubs in Okc, and the techno music or top 40 stuff is not for me. You will always find some good music here. Some nights they are full, sometimes is is a smaller crowd, just depends. Ladies nights Sunday Tues Wed Thurs get in free, which is a great deal. They still do the Gator, which is great fun to watch. Come once and you will be hooked.
I frequent the local restaurants in Moore, OK/Norman, OK on a daily basis. I have eaten at just about every option available to me and have found that not every eatery available is worth the trip. Lemon Grass Asian Bistro fortunately enough is one of the best Asian Bistro's I have ever had the pleasure of trying. Though the establishment could use more square footage to accommodate the many who wish to dine, it is well above average in regards to an overall dining experience and is well decorated for the available space. The staff is watched closely by the female owner who walks the floors to insure satisfied customers. The staffs themselves are very pleasant and very aware of the desire to insure satisfaction of each and every customer by the owner. So A+ for staff and service, the food is what really won me over. From the Red Snapper (Absolute Delight) to the excellent flash fried sushi (Yummy!) everything we tried, and we tried almost the whole menu was perfectly executed. Food A++. This is a great find for Moore, OK.
It's BETTER. The food is superb. The service is exceptional. I've been back four times since Sleepy Hollow reopened and - as good as the old restaurant was - this food is wonderful. If you want mama's fried chicken and you're too tired or you never bothered to get her recipe or you just plain can't cook, go to Sleepy Hollow! Chicken, steak (grilled or chicken fried like you've never had chicken fried steak before... no soft gristly bits!), mashed potatoes, salad, corn, green beans... this is Okie Soul food you'll return again and again to wrap your lips around. And if you like peach cobbler... Oh! You gotta get it. Chocolate cake your downfall? You gotta get it. No... I don't own a piece of this restaurant; I don't even work there. But I sure like to have lunch there... and dinner when they're open (Friday and Saturday night) Sunday they're open 11-6. Go. You won't be disappointed.
Omg... What a change! First the good The sound and lighting is great. The furniture is all new with the same look. BIGGEST change for me was the ladies bathroom. The last time I was there a year ago, you didn't dare touch anything in the bathroom. Now it's spotless and updated plus tons of girlie options like hand soaps & hair spray etc. actually rivals the nicer bathrooms I've seen at fancy restaurants. (Well, close anyhow.) the change was astonishing. The staff was friendly & prompt. I have to say high five to the new management for a job well done!! Now for the BAD.. The very first thing I noticed walking in was a horrible mildew smell. Not sure what is the cause but wow! I'd given a complete five stars if I wasn't overwhelmed by that smell walking in. Other then that its a great place and lots of fun!!!!
If you are looking for a place to eat with a lot of fancy frills, then this is not the place. However, if you want some good down home cooking, with an at home atmosphere, then Sleepy Hollow is the place. All dishes are made to order, but I highly recommend the pan fried chicken. Cooked and seasoned just right and brought piping hot to your table. The portions of chicken, as well as the sides are ample and if you are in a group it is served family style. The staff is very friendly and treat like you like family. This was my first visit, but the next time I am in OKC, Sleepy Hollow is on my must do list. I must say however, it is kind of pricey, (2 piece dinners about 10 bucks) but if you come with others you can save a lot by ordering the family meals.
First I drove all the way to Piedmont just to discover that location is closed. That information was not on the web site. We then visited the location on NW Expressway. The service was good and everyone was really nice, but the food is nothing special. I am always looking for good fried catfish, and this was not it. The baked fish had good flavor, but the fried catfish was pretty bland. The homemade ice cream was way too sweet and I don't like it that people dip their own out of a large container. The thought of everyone putting their hands right into the container is pretty gross. The variety of food was not that great either especially considering the price. Golden Coral is definitely the better choice for a buffet.
Hello,My name is Mark.I am the General Manager and one of the owners of Sherlocks. I can proudly say I've worked at Sherlocks for 30 years. Started in this business as a barback and progressed to my current status. We have done an extensive remodel of the property. If you are a former patron,we invite you to come see all the beautiful ammenities. This place looks phenominal! We still play variety music as we have done for 35 years with a brand new, state of the art, sound system and light show. A full service bar, professionally staffed and ready to rock! Casual dress is fine.Collared shirts are preferred. No ballcaps,T-shirts,tank tops or grungy attire. We look forward to seeing you !!!
We went to this bar because we were looking to karaoke. Someone told us it was a "whole in the wall/biker" kinda of bar. Even though we are unsure how friendly or safe this place would be we thought we'd check it out. I'm so glad we did! Everyone there was very friendly and for a small bar it was clean and was better than expected. The karaoke KJ Bob was very friendly and had a great sound system! The only thing I can say was a bad review was how smokey the bar was. They tried to open a back door time to time to allow the room to vent. If you're looking for good music and talking to some nice ppl this is a place to go to and I will be visiting there again soon.
I love this cozy bar. It's very relaxed in there and the bartender Krystle is always very attentive and super sweet. This is my favorite place to go after a long work day and just sit and have a drink. There's always friendly faces at the bar full of plenty of conversation. I absolutely love it when Thunder is there (youll have to go and meet him)☺They have pool league, Nascar days, and all sorts of fun things like that. It's really quite a good little spot. Also, I really like that they have a board up acknowledging all of the family/friends and regular customers birthdays. It's a nice touch.
