Pawnshops: 10 Things to Know »
Most people think of pawn stores as a way to make cash quickly or a place to buy an inexpensive ring. In reality, they're a lot more complex than simple buy-and-sell transactions…
Resized my ring within 30 minutes. $25, so very reasonably priced. I loved not having to leave my jewelry behind. It honestly looked so much better than when I brought it in, but who knows when I had it cleaned last!! Very helpful and eager to help. Happy to see them in a new location!!!
Excellent service.I don't wear much jewelry, but it just so happened that a silver pinky ring from Salzburg, Austria broke. I went to a jewler in town and they explained the various mixes in silver (bla bla bla) in other words no can do. So in asking around, someone told me about A Plus Jewelers. I brought my ring to him, he said it'll be ready in a two days; and it was. The week after that my diamond pendent broke. A Plus had it repaired the day after I brought it to them. Fantastic job. I will never ever go to any other place.Thank you!Denise T
James is a fantastic detail oriented Jeweler. His expertise is phenomenal. He can find you the perfect ring for you or create the one you want. Better than any chain retailer anywhere.
Great service, very knowledgeable of jewelry, clocks and watches. Very friendly and returned my items in a timely fashion.
I will never go anywhere else but A Plus Jewelers for my jewlery repair and jewelery purchasing needs.Everytime I go into the store, I am treated with kidness and respect, just like I am a part of thier family. Everytime I have ever gone in to thier store, they always acknowledge that I am there and make me feel important. They are very knowledgeable , friendly, and take the time to make sure everything is in working order before I leave the store, and they also make sure I am happy and satisfied before I leave. My jewelery is always in better condition then when I dropped it off, and I have never had any problems with the work they have done. The staff is always very friendly and knowledgeable about jewelery, stones, custom work, you name it they will do everything in thier power to find whatever it is your looking for. A Plus Jewlers will always and forever be my jewelery store.
I would NEVER recommend this place for anybody wanting quality service done on their jewelry. Horrible, horrible customer service and product care. I took my one year old engagement ring to be resized by them, as it needed to be sized up. They were very quick in resizing the ring, I'll give them that. However after less than ten hours of wear my one carat diamond had fallen out of the prongs! There had never, ever been any issues with the ring beforehand. Afterward, I had taken my diamondless ring to another jeweler to see what could have caused this, as it was only a year old. They said whoever sized it (A+ Jewelers) had no clue what they're doing because you can't resize a ring up more than 1/2 size at a time with prongs like mine without compromising the pressure necessary to hold the diamond in place. I have no idea where my diamond is and A+ Jewelers effectively ruined my ring with their lack of expertise. After notifying them, there wasn't even the slightest bit of sympathy for my $5,000 ring being ruined, just over and again "I'm not responsible." If you value your jewelry/watches that you work hard to have, take them elsewhere for repairs or service. As another poster said, this dealer is crooked and only aims to make a quick buck, no matter the consequences.
This is a wonderful place to buy jewelry or have it repaired. Their craftsmanship is excellent. I gave them an old ring of my grandmothers and they created a beautiful wedding ring for me. My daughter took her ring in to have it repaired and they made it look brand new in less than 24 hours. I highly recommend this place of business! You won't be disappointed!
Terrible. Wanted to leave 0 stars. Rude, uppity. I own my own business. I guess they have an unlimited number of customers, so friendliness and service isn't important. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere!
Took my one week old engagement ring here to be sized and secure the diamond as it felt loose. He told me it would be an hour repair but when I showed up after an hour he hadn't started, so he asked if I had 10 minutes for him to do it. So I agreed and waited. In the 10 minutes he took to complete the repairs, my brand new ring was completely RUINED. It absolutely not get sized although he took my money and claimed it was sized. My ring was returned to me fitting the exact same as when I went in, with a pointy edge and It hadn't even been cleaned. When I mentioned that it felt the same size, I was bluntly lied to and told my fingers must have just been swollen and even more was taken out than I asked. Upon my suspicions, I immediately took it to another jeweler who confirmed it was in fact the same size as when I originally took it in to A Plus, as well as informed me that in order to tighten my diamond, one of the prongs had been broken and repaired incorrectly with the wrong material and not buffed out correctly causing the extremely sharp edge. I had to pay $80 more to have it actually re-sized, and repairs done to fix the broken prong. DO NOT USE THIS CROOKED JEWLER!!! If he did have time to get to my ring within the hour he quoted me at I can't help but assume he would have switched my beautiful diamond out for a zirconia stone and try to pass it off for my own. I don't know how this worthless man can sleep at night.
My mother dropped her wedding ring down a garbage disposal losing 2 diamonds and twisting the ring. We brought it in on Christmas Eve and they reshape the ring so she could wear it prior to being completely repaired and with no charge. My mom brought the ring in this week for repairs and after a couple of days and an extremely reasonable price, they had it looking like brand new. After over 60 years of marriage, the ring has so much meaning and it made my mom so happy to have it back on her finger. I would definitely recommend them for repair.
