I know you are saying, "She must be crazy! What about Hideaway?" Well, I factor a lot into why Pizza Palace is the best. 1) It is very reasonably priced. We can have two meals out of $17 something. (It's just the two of us!) 2) It has an awesome crust. I am just a crust girl, though, and that is almost more important to me than the quality of the toppings. Although these toppings are first rate! 3) It's fast. I can call ahead and have my pizza in my hands in 15 minutes on a Friday night (I pick it up just down the street a few minutes.) You can also have it delivered, but although the delivery is free, you don't get the discount you get when you go pick it up. 4) The location is central. It's easy to get to, and the parking lot wasn't full. My husband was able to park right in front. 5) The employees are really nice too. So that is Five good reasons why I believe this pizza is the best!!

Hands down this is the best pizza you can get in OKC! Using the freshest ingredients and a pizza oven that creates the perfect crispy crust, the owners of this local pizza joint really know just exactly how to make a good pizza. With some experience from owning a pizza joint in NYC, the owners of Pizza Planet really know how to make a pizza that pleases your appetite. I usually order a mushroom pizza with pineapple and jalapeño (which are cut fresh to order and thrown on the pizza, seeds and all). What more could you ask for? I've told all my friends and I will write a review on any website I can. Pizza Planet has the best pizza in town. Their specials during the day are unbelievable- something like $7 for a large pizza, and Pizza Planet is also good for late night munchies. I highly, HIGHLY recommend making Pizza Planet your new go-to pizza place. Love it!!!
My wife and I eat here regularly and usually have a great meal and enjoy visiting with the staff but, after our visit the other evening i do not know if we will be going back. I am guessing that they are under new management. The new lady seemed short with us and somewhat irritated. There are still some familiar faces there and those employees were very welcoming as usual. We chose to stick with this place so long because we absolutely LOVED the pizza. The crust was always fluffy and tasted awesome. However, our visit the other evening the crust just seemed heavy and not as pleasant to eat. Just like any other pizza place in the phone book. I think we may give them one more chance, hopefully they just had an off day. If anyone knows if they are under new management please give feedback!
Really pleasantly surprised with Eagle One. Groupon introduced us to these guys and we've been driving out to the Midwest City location from NW OKC for over a month now getting their pizza. It's been consistently good every time and tastes really, really good cold as leftover. I order the breadsticks without garlic butter (dry) and they also taste great even several days later with marinara sauce . Their staff always answers the phone right away and gets the order in in no time. Always ready when we pick up and they seem to have a good attitude. No complaints here. My #1 requestI would be for them to open up a location out in northwest OKC to round-out their presence in the metro area. Keep the good pizza coming.
This resturant is a blast from right out of the south that is an absolute "Re-Visit". In fact, I'd have to say, time and time and time again. Each dish is cooked beyond your expectation and yes I'm thinking all dishes has a repectful portion of "Brown Suga". Served in quantities your grandmother would be proud of and each has the original taste a variety southern foods should have. Greens, beans, rice, ribs, colber, chicken, and on and on and on. We love it and only wish it was closer to our home (I think), that may be dangerous! But I will say 45 minutes is not to far to experience this treaure. Sincerely and with pleasure! LL Newalla, OK
We recently moved to the area and honestly prefer local pizza to chain assembly line pies. We ordered a Gold Rush: 10 wings & Large 1 topping. In addition we got a gyro and chef salad. The wings are perfectly spun & not greasy or pathetic in meat ratio. The pizza was good, I like the crust, but my husband said the sausage should be spicier. He enjoyed his chef salad but in a sea of ranch, his opinion is void for that fact. HA. Lastly the gyro was better than I would have guessed! The cucumber sauce was creamy/chunky the sauted onions were delish. I have no complaints...Way better than American Pizza Co. or Stars & Stripes or even Sauced(new owners).
Normally I don't have any issues with this store, quick in and out, pizza is good. However, there are occasions when one particular woman works the front and when she does the service is abysmal. Each time I have been there when she is working the front is out of pizza, she is very unorganized, slow, and this time added insult to injury by twice looking past me in line to take orders from women. I'm all about being a gentleman but with both this employee and the women in line this is taking some liberties. Needless to say, if this woman is working my business will be going elsewhere, KFC is right down the road.
The current staff is careless and indifferent which translates to poor customer service. I've been a long time customer, considering I live nearby. But they made changes to their policy on deliveries that apparently nobody understands well enough to notify the customer when prompted. Also, when I called about a mistake made on my order and spoke to the manager, Bill, he was the most indifferent of them all. They have wonderful food, but sadly I will not be frequenting there any longer. NO ONE SHOULD HAVE TO PUT UP WITH POOR SERVICE AS A TRADE UP FOR GOOD FOOD.
I love to eat out but sadly only go to three places in the whole city because, either the food is so bad it will makes me ill (fast food joints), or because it costs so much that all the fun is flat gone right out of the meal. Joey's Pizzeria is so the nicest combination of low price and really really good food with the most relaxing atmosphere that have ever experinced. I was in there at a time when it was fairly empty and was asked what type of music I would like playing. The waiter was very friendly and respectful. I just love this little place!
With Ivars all over the Puget Sound area, it's easy to fulfill those occasional fried fish cravings. For dining in or to go, there's a good selection of fried fish, shrimp, clams, chowder (in a bread bowl if you like) and even a side caesar salad. The shrimp cocktail and crab cocktail is always a treat. While Ivars is a little on the expensive side for fast food, it beats a burger anytime. The Federal Way location has a wonderful staff, and Nancy always remembers my name even if I haven't been in for awhile.
