I have had cataract surgery in both eyes. One of my appts I sat here 3 hours after my appt time and no one said a word. When I finally received my prescription for my new glasses I was hit like a ton of bricks. Since I have Medicare I had to go back to them for my glasses since my doctor is only contracted thru them. Not happy at all

In late 2016 and early 2017 I had two eye surgeries at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City. A mistake I wish I could undo. If I ever have eye surgery again, it will be somewhere else.
Our family has had several surgeries here. We are pleased with the staff, procedures and environment. WONDERFUL PLACE, AMAZING PEOPLE
I was treated here for a retinal tear. The retinal specialist was excellent, I will not go see another doctor as I have had great care here. In an emergency I was admitted and treated for a tear within 45 minutes of walking through the front door.Routine follow-up visits have been typical of most doctor offices with sometimes long waits (have to handle those emergencies).
I've been seeing Dr. Womack for about 3 - 4 years now. He's a real professional who always has his patients interests at heart.
I had the CK procedure done in 2004 and did not gain 20/20,not even close, still wear glasses. I guess this procedure doesn't come with 20/20 or free because he told me that there would be another procedure out in about a year that would fix what the CK had done, but would cost me $3600 the same as the first. I'm tired of hearing him on the radio saying free if not 20/20. He has done some good for people but he is out to make a buck also. cowboybluiee
I was beyond disappointed with my visit. My daughter is 7 months old and after waiting a month to get her in I made sure we did everything right prior to our visit. Pre-registered online, the morning of our appointment I called to confirm they received it and see if we needed to arrive early for any additional forms, they assured me that everything was there and that arriving on time would be perfect. My husband and I got there 10 minutes before our scheduled time and proceeded to wait.... and wait... and wait. When I inquired as to how much longer it would be they informed me that an emergency came up and they were running at least 30 minutes behind schedule. I understand that things like that come up but if I arrive late to ANY doctor's office more than 15 minutes I have to reschedule and pay my co-pay for that visit. All they had to do was call me and let me know that they were behind and we needed to either reschedule or push our time back. After 30 minutes of waiting and my daughter screaming in the waiting room we left. I cannot believe they claim to be a children's facility when they have no concept of how their unprofessional behavior will affect an infant.
