DO NOT call this company to do your floors. They quoted me 7 days to redo our entire first floor of our house. They moved all of our furniture on a Friday afternoon to one corner of our house. Note that now our first floor of our home us unusable. Annoying to do on a Friday afternoon, but whatever. They are supposed to start work on Monday. Monday comes and Monday goes and nobody shows up to work. After asking what's up, we discover that their sander is broken and they need to get a part for it (you can rent similar sander that works for very little money). Tuesday comes and Tuesday goes and nobody shows up to work. No word on today's issue. We have new appliances set to be delivered next week, so the floor being done is a big deal. Wednesday about 11:30 AM we are at the house when the floor guy finally rolls in. He says he's forgotten the correct sandpaper and has to go get it. And, since he's here for the "long haul" today, he might as well get some lunch. He does no work before leaving after arriving for the day. He comes back around 1230 PM and we finally have someone working on our floors on the 5th day after our home is unusable. Yay! We leave for lunch and come back around 2PM and our guy is already gone for the day. He did about 30 minutes of work. Repeat similar story for Thursday. We then threaten to fire him and he promises they they will put in full days Friday, Saturday and Sunday to catch up and complete project as planned by next Tuesday. Long story short, they do put in a good 3 hours on Friday. About 45 minutes on Saturday and no show on Sunday. Our floors aren't even 1/4 of the way finished and we are having to scramble to find another floor guy to finish the project so that we can take the delivery of our appliances next week. I'm not certain this will all work out, but to say that Feighny Hardwood Floors is bad at business would be an understatement. Patrick is the owner and he just has no control over his employees.

Horrible service and they cheated us by ordering too much carpet and then tried to take it with them. They subcontract through Lowes so beware.
I had a home built in 2015 and Southwest Flooring Services was responsible for the tile and wood in our home. There were some issues with the transitions between the tile and wood flooring. I contacted Southwest Flooring Services the week before Thanksgiving 2015, and they have yet to come out and even take a look at the problems. I have called them over six times, and every time there is an excuse such as employee turnover, or "you are at the top of my list to call you", or let me go to the warehouse to determine if the transition is in stock, and I will call you back. Not once have I received a return call from them. It is the second week of February and I am still working with them to have the problems resolved. RUN, DON'T WALK, AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS THEY ARE UNABLE TO SUSTAIN A REPUTABLE BUSINESS, .....Initially, I thought my situation may have been an isolated incident, it is obvious it is more the norm, than exception. after reading other reviews here.
We chose a wood-look tile and wanted a dark brown grout for a seamless look. Bill, our salesman, brought out a color he said Teresa, his assistant, had chosen for us, which was a dark gray, and then he corrected himself and said that was another customer's color who had the same tile. He then showed me the color choices, and I selected a chocolate brown. Upon drying, we realized a gray grout was installed. My husband went into the store to discuss the problem and was told they installed the color I chose with Teresa. (I never talked to Teresa to choose the color -- only Bill.) My husband was given one small card of colors to take home to discuss with me, none of which had a chocolate brown color. Upon returning the next day with my husband to ask for more colors, Teresa was extremely rude and literally threw them upon her desk. All in all, communication, organization, and truthfulness are not Metro Flooring’s forte.
By far the worst tiling and flooring job i have ever seen. We built our house three years ago and are having a ton of problems with our flooring throughout the house. the wood floor has pieces coming loose all over. They put the wrong tile in one room of our house and tried to get us to deal with it. Our shower has the most problem. We paid extra for a custom built shower and it has been nothing but problems due to improper construction from southwest flooring. They used sand as filler through the whole floor instead of concrete and the floor has crumbled over time and washed sand down our drain to cause plumbing issues. When we called to ask if they would help in any way the receptionist was very rude. i would advise in no one in using this company ever, unless you like problems.
We bought a very expensive wood-look tile from this company. There were about 35 tiles that needed to be replaced after the initial install. We marked every tile that needed to be replaced and they have now been here twice in an attempt to replace every tile. We are still waiting for them to come for a third time to replace the existing damaged tiles. Each time they've come we have been inconvenienced with removing all of our furniture from the area and spending 2 hours after they leave cleaning the dust off everything I own. Hopefully third time is a charm.

We bought a new home in 2013. After a few weeks we noticed our tile was popping up and the grout was cracking. We requested the tile be replaced. They came out and measured the area to be fixed and said their office would contact us to schedule and appointment to get the work down. A few weeks later and no call. When we contacted them they apologized and said it had been crazy there and set up an appointment. The day of the appointment came and went without so much as a call or message telling us they weren't coming out that day. When we called the office they apologized and said that workman had quit. They set up another appointment to fix the tile a few weeks later. The day of that appointment, much to my surprise, a worker actually did come out but this time he had the wrong tile color. He stated the office would contact us. Weeks later we finally heard from them and they said they fixed the problem and set up another appointment. This time the tile was the right color but the wrong size. At this point it was about 6 month past the time they originally stated the tile work would be done. Our tile was beginning to crack and pop up in every room in our house. They once again scheduled another appointment to come look at it. No one showed up. They called a few weeks later and set up an appointment for today from 8-12 to demo the entire house and replace all the tile. They stated it would be demo today, then putting in new tile tomorrow and the next day. As I sit here it is 12:30. No one has called or shown up. We called the office and were told their installer had an emergency and would come sometime today. It has been more than a year since we originally started dealing with this company. Nothing more than missed appointments and mistakes has taken place. I have missed numerous days of work sitting at home waiting for them to show up and on most occasions no one does. If you are really lucky they will show up with the wrong tile. If your idea of a good tile company is complete incompetence then I would definitely hire these people! They won't disappoint in their complete idiocy. Who knows, maybe by the time the house is 50 years old the tile will actually get fixed.
