This store is an abomination of any grocery store I've ever been to. The associates almost don't exist. The last time I went there, there literally weren't any registers open but the self check outs. Then I ended up waiting forever because the girl in charge of those kept letting people come up to her and just check out because they were too good to wait and making everyone else who had been waiting in line struggle with the machines. And of course we get stuck waiting for her approval for 20 minutes on an item while she just kept doing that. They don't keep things very well stocked, and when they do stock, it seems they do it in the busiest time of day, so that everyone gets irritated that they can't function in the store. Whenever they do decide to put a real cashier at a register, you don't get so much as a glance in your direction. They just grab your things and ring them up slowly. No kindness. The store also smells bad. And most of the time, the produce looks ok when you buy it, until you get it home and cut into it (immediately after purchasing) to see that it was rotten on the inside.
The pharmacy is a joke, because even when you get a call to say your rx is ready, it usually isn't and you will wait hours until it actually is. The lines are always long due to this. It has been multiple times that I've made several trips because I just can't wait around for hours at a time to yield no results.
I could go on and on about the rude people that shop here too, but I realize they can't control that so I will spare you and tell you it is worth the extra miles to find at least another location, if not another store completely!
Dont use the pharmacy at the walmart at 44th and Western in Oklahoma City, we have had several bad experiances with them ( there is one girl in pharmacy who seems to be the only one who knows what she's doing ) they are understaffed, every time we go we have at least a 30 min wait and thats just to drop off prescriptions, the majority of the employees do not know how to fill under the appropriate insurance resulting in more delays untill the one smart one fixes the problem, they have been rude, have let use sit in the drive thru while waiting on the other man in drive thru's medicine to be ok'ed, didnt even say hold on , or try to take any info from us while waiting for the phone call from the other customer's Dr. I have contacted store manag. several times, but I guess now is time to seek another pharmacy
