My sister was Dr Alhaj's patient for several years up until 2014. At one point in her care, I emailed his office and told them that my sister was being overmedicated and that she had a long history of abusing prescription drugs. I told them they needed to back off on the amount of drugs they were giving her because she was an addict, something I wasnt sure if they knew. Well, they ignored me completely. No reply. Fast forward to now. This month, 2016, was the 2nd anniversary of my sister's death. The day she was found dead on her bedroom floor, 12/05/14, we discovered that she had swallowed a whole month's worth of her pills in only 3.5 days (there were only 4 pills left in the bottle and she'd just gotten them filled 4 days earlier). I contacted Dr Alhaj's office again, thanked them for the care and attention they gave to my sister (sarcasm, of course), and told them my sister was dead of an overdose. They didn't even extend an apology.

Dr. Alhaj is nothing more than an "injection" doctor and a UA doctor. This is the ONLY thing he cares about. He forces his patients into having the spinal epidural steroid injections and if you refuse, he withholds your medications or fires you. After seeing this man for 4 1/2 years and being subjected to these injections even after he was told by my Endocrinologist 3 times to stop them because of my severe osteoporosis, and the medication used in them causing me to have the most horrible allergic reaction you can imagine...huge gaping sores all across my upper back, I was yanked off medications I'd taken for well over a decade instantly which is extremely dangerous because of the severe withdrawals. Doing this to someone CAN and often does kill people and should never be done except in a hospital setting and being weaned very slowly off of the medications. When my part-time caregiver and I questioned him about this, after being told by the doctor "we needed to part ways" at my last appointment in April of this year, the doctor lunged at my caretaker and slammed him up against the exam room wall and hissed at him about "how he fought in the Syrian war." WHAT? I have seen more doctors in my lifetime than I can count and have never witnessed such horror in my entire life. I had to call 911 and when the police came, the doctor admitted to doing this, but the police refused to arrest the man for assault and battery. The next Monday my caretaker and I went to the State Medical Board to file formal complaints and were told Alhaj was currently being investigated, but they could not tell us why. They have done nothing. I was assigned a caseworker and have never spoken with her once. Just a few days later, I received a call from some man working there who started attacking me over the phone. They have done nothing. Alhaj's office is filthy, he doesn't follow protocol when giving the injections and he treats his employees(scribes), like trash.

He is very rude to his employees and on my first visit he was very rude to me so on my second visit I sort of told him off and believe it or not he acted very nice to me for about 2 years. Then he got angry because my BCBS did not want to pay for his outrageous $500 urine screenings so he had the front desk give me a not saying that if I wanted to keep getting injections he would be happy to do them, otherwise he would no longer be writing my meds! To me that is pure Greed!

I'd stay away from Dr. G Alhaj. I went to him for a couple of years. As an employer he is horrible, rude and terrible. To his patients, he isn't any better. He wanted to give me a series of steriod shots. I'm diebetic and steriods effect my blood sugar. Dr. Alhaj told me I'd have to make a choice, either to take the shots and risk my life or found another Dr to treat my pain. I'm glad to say I did the latter. Lucky I was seeing another Dr. for another problem, and I told her want he wanted and she took my pain management over. He even implied I was selling my meds and wanted to count them, after he was going to count the pills, he said he could "work me in for a steriod shot". Fat chance I'd let him come near me with a needle of any kind. One star is too much.

He is rude to his employees w...

He is rude to his employees without a doubt. I was a patient of his for approx. 5 years and he had no problems with me but when I had a drug screen at work I stopped some of my medications for 3 days so that I wouldn't have so much medication in my system, well he too wanted to do a drug screen that day and when it was missing a couple of medications he got mad. He refuses to fill out paper work for very important things like your job. My employer knew I was prescribed the medications I had but he wouldn't fill out the paper work stating I was in fact prescribed them. Needless to say that caused me to lose my job and I lost my doctor. Now I am in a lot of pain and started working somewhere else. I can't find a doctor that will prescribe medication I was on. It just makes me sick that I could be his patient for years and cause no problem what so ever, pass all my drug screens with him with no problem and now he has thrown me away. I would steer clear of him at all costs. He doesn't care about his staff or his patients..

I don't know how the doctor is...

I don't know how the doctor is as a doctor but as an employer he sucks! He yells and belittles his staff right in front of patients, in patient rooms with the patient and is overall and a complete ??? to his employees. Then wonders why they quit and don't come back. Perhaps if he showed a little respect to his employees then they would return. Stay as far away from this place as possible!
