I feel "bamboozled". I called before making the trip up there. The lady I spoke with said that it'd be $50 for the first 1000 pounds of trash. I explained that I'd need to make about three separate trips because I'm just bringing the loads up in my truck. She told me that as long as I didn't exceed 1000 pounds that it'd be fine. So, I load up my truck and make the trip up there. I pay my $50, then unload. On my way out, I'm getting my Debit card from the lady, Marketta was her name (she was VERY nice and courteous). She told me that if I returned, it'd be another $50. "It's $50 per trip". I explained to her that whoever I spoke with on the phone said I could make multiple trips as long as I didn't go over the limit. It was at this point that a very stern looking woman walks up from out of the shadows (sorry for the dramatics, but I'm pissed). I didn't get her name, but she was very quick to let me know that it was her that I spoke with. She told me that she didn't say any of those words. I left after she flexed her manager muscles and put me in my place, because I knew it would be useless trying to have a conversation with her. I'll end with this......I wouldn't have gone to all that trouble, had I understood what she was saying. At this point it's not even about the money. It's about taking care of your consumer. It doesn't matter that it's trash, I hold everyone to the same standard when it comes to taking care of people. Wasn't asking for a hand out either, but clearly there was a breakdown in communication. The "lady from the shadows" was happy to send me on my way after she collected my money. I WILL NEVER RETURN to this place.
