The think that annoys me is that even though you buy a permanent vase they throw away your flowers two or three times a year even if the flowers look good. The other issue is that many of the graves markers are sunken down and under water during rainy seasons. It seems to me that they should raise these graves so that they are above the water.
Be careful. The funeral home selling caskets for $4650 when you can buy the same casket online for $1095. The funeral home tried their hardest to discourage us but we bought online anyway. The online store had 350 models to pick from and the funeral home had 8 models. Can you imagine the funeral home was 4x more expensive. The funeral home explained it away by saying their overhead was a lot higher. The online casket was beautiful.
Worst place ever. I have never seen so many disrespectful people in one place in my entire life! When my uncle passed away we were told we would get a military plaque for his grave at no charge to us. I had to go in there several times and finally a YEAR later had to threaten them to get it done. They then tried to charge me and once they figured out I was playing around and was serious about bringing the news out and showing people what kind of place it really was they put the plaque down. Don't go here if you have a choice, they will drain you financally and mentally and laugh about it.
Thank you Jonathon for all the work you did to make my brothers's "party" so great! Thanks to Resthaven for having shuch caring people. I appreciate everyone for all their support and love at this time. I especially love my niece, nephews, great nieces and great nephew. God Bless All of You.

Resthaven is the sleazy type of funeral home that preys on the vulnerabilities of grieving family members. My mother was suckered into paying over $15,000 for a funeral that would have cost her $8,000 or less anywhere else in town. Although my parents had already bought plots and a headstone - already paid for - she was made to pay additional costs for said plots and headstone. When My father's complimentary (from the government) military plaque arrived, Resthaven tried to charge us another $750 to put it by his grave. This was supposed to be paid for. After yelling at them about how much they screwed us and how they had better install the plaque without the $750, they did set it - and it was crooked. They were careless and spiteful and I've had enough. Additionally, the brand new flowers and American flags my mother put down on Memorial Day had been removed 2 weeks later - and this did not happen to other graves. I would sooner disinter my father and move him to another cemetery so that my mother doesn't have to be in that place long before I would give them any more of my family's money.
The facilities , grounds, staff and service are more then just a cut above!
I recommend Resthaven not just for service when someone has passed away, but also to make arrangements far in advance with payments to fit any budget. We did after our mom passed away, she had everything pre-planned and it made everything so much easier!!! So we decided to do the responsible thing, made pre-arrangements and protected our family from further infaltion of cemetery and funeral costs; all anyone will have to do at the time we pass, is pay the minister, certified copies of death certificates, burial permit and obituary notice for the paper. Highly recommend this company, their ecthics and integrity are of extreme high standards.
