I loved working with OECU to buy my new SUV. The pre-qualification process was easy, they checked out an embarrassing number of VIN numbers for me and saved me from buying a seriously over-priced vehicle, and the e-sign process to finish up my loan was really convenient. There wasn't a thing about the whole experience I would change. Thanks you guys!!
It was the easiest, most through and quickest experience I have had in a long time. Tammy was wonderfull. Everytime I called she was very patient and very helpful. Experience was great. Tammy is always there to help in any capacity that I need. OECU has been a great financial experience.
I have been a member since around 1967, my parents were members, my children have been members and now my grandchildren are becoming members. In the entire time of our family membership and many, many, many transactions, we have only encountered professional, knowledgeable personnel. The overall rating of OECU should be at the highest level possible. This credit union is second to none.
Horrible credit union. Their staff is very young and inexperienced. (Look at their social networking if you'd like to have a taste.) They have a hard time understanding the even the most basic fundamentals of business. These are hourly workers with no good supervision. A majority of them do not have a background in finance or even hours in college. It's almost like walking into a life class in a high school -- on "professional" day. Everyone is wearing their business clothes, trying to act like adults but are too involved in their phones or friends (ie co-workers) to act like adults. Rarely have I encountered unprofessional behavior of this level in a financial institution. I have pulled all of my accounts and thankfully, have moved to another institution.
Thankfully, I do not bank here. Came in to conduct a sales transaction with one of their customers and was horrified at their "we can't help you" attitude. The details of the actual transaction are unimportant but truly, these were the most unhelpful employees I have ever met. We also enjoyed their passive aggressive, over sweet "buh byes" as we left their facility. (Really, if I'd wanted to fly Southwest, I would have.) Be warned. Their customer service is as limited as their intelligence.
I had a $10,000 5 year old car for collateral and try to borrow $5,000 for my mother's funeral and they turned me down?.? Because a bunch of late payments On my current car loan( I had lost my job) but had one when I tried to get the loan... Wtf are they thinking??? Then they offered to give me the loan if I secure the loan with my own money! Lol what kind of loan is that?!? Lol I needed that money 4 other things...THEY SUCK!! P.S. mom had a great funeral!!!
