I have been around for awhile, so I have had the privilege to experience many hospitals. Also I had the opportunity to volunteer for ten years in pre-op/post-op at Community Hospital in Indianapolis.
April 19th I had hand surgery at Ocom North.
I have never encountered a more friendly and smiling staff than at your hospital and doctor office's. It sure helps the patient's comfort and relaxation level! Dr Avant has that very professional and competent presentation the is so needed in the medical field. Thank you very much. You facilities are right up there at the top being clean, well lighted and patient orientated. Dr Ried, my anesthesiologist, is also in the same category of excellent competence and patient care. Thank you to all the staff. If it is at all possible to, well not really enjoy, but have a good hospital experience, that is what I had.
On the surface its as good as any other but I've been a patient there twice and both times was put under with anesthesia as such I can only say I was breathing when released. During my recovery at home on both occasions I experienced plenty of soreness from the procedure plus bruises on other parts of my body. Just had a Carthage repaired in my right knee last week, I mean you expect some degree of soreness right? But my left kidney hurts and I recall the first few times I made water it had a reddish tint to it almost as if there was blood in my urine. I have a bruise on the back side of my thigh as big as a basketball my entire leg hurts so much I use a rope tied to my foot to move my leg in bed and whenever I get up or lay down. After two surgeries at this place I'd be reluctant to recommend them to anyone else or to have any more surgeries done there. Just curious if any one else have had a similar experience here or at other places. my email is books@LindseySellsBooks.com if anyone cares to share their experience. I was seriously thinking of asking a news station to investigate them to see if anyone else has had a similar experience.
