General Info

Community Action Agency, established in 1965, serves the community with programs promoting self-sufficiency for socially, economically and culturally disadvantaged citizens. Community Action Agency partners with private businesses to provide programs that address various issues, including substance abuse, home repair, child care and economic development. Its community partnership program provides services for senior citizens to promote self-sufficiency of individuals and communities. It has an outpatient substance abuse treatment center that provides comprehensive services to support the recovery of individuals and families struggling with substance abuse and addiction. Community Action Agency also provides homeowners and homebuyers assistance, including down payment assistance, homebuyer education, housing counseling and new construction programs. Community Action Agency is located in Oklahoma City.
