I had some time today when I was taking my therapy dog to the Del City Library for their reading to dogs program. I got in the store with my dog and one of the guys come running up telling me their guard dog would kill my dog if it saw my dog. Then I escorted out of the store. What is up guys, you want to run customers off because you can't contain your dog and then don't post signs? If your dogs attacks other dogs how about kids or other adults? Don't think I will be back!!!!!
Dont buy from here there way too overpriced i researched and shopped around before i found what i was looking for and the price i was looking for look at academy there's best buy gun and pawn has great prices and will get u almost anything just do your research and u will surprised on how much of a mark up gun world has a if they have a gun or rifle for 800 and they say that they will sell it to u for 600 and then u go to academy and see it for 400 thats how much thay mark up if u dont belive me try it it just hurts me to see a hard working man get takin advantage of so please do your research
If you gave this place a good rating, you are either uneducated in firarms, or part of this scam artists establisment. They prey on ill-informed buyers new to firarms and shooting. Do your research before you buy ANYTHING from this store. You WILL WILL WILL get ripped off if you dont.
I haven't stepped foot in this place in 3 years because of how gouged their prices were in the past. However I was on my way home passing through and curious to see if anything changed. Now they do have just about anything you could ever need. But their prices are still morbidly inflated...which is an understatement. 500rnd American eagle 22lr-$149
Federal champion 325rnd box-$89. PCM Bronze 45auto-$49 and their guns...mostly way over MSRP. If you give this place a good review you're either uneducated and got ripped off or you're in collusion with this place somehow. Buyers Beware!!! Go somewhere else!
Do you research online before walking into this store. prices are very high for what your buying.
I asked to look at a remington 870 tactical model, which is yes a higher priced shotgun but $700.00? this gun retails and is available for under 600.
Although I appreciate advice that a gun salesman gives me, the gentleman behind the counter showing me "trick" with a pistol to shoot it upside down is not appropriate, given the fact that 1. He doesn't know my shooting experience or if I am a licensed carrier. 2. I didn't know you went into a gun shop so they could show you how to shoot someone properly.
I appreciate the enthusiasm, but showing someone you don't know, "tricks" is stupid and unprofessional, especially when dealing with firearms.
above all, I think more than anything was the high prices that left a bad taste in my mouth. and no....not talking about the recent hike in prices due to govt scares either.
I wouldn't send my worthless ex-husband and his bat sh*t crazy new wife to this store, and THAT'S saying something!!!
I was treated poorly from the start! They are far too overpriced and extremely dishonest in their responses to pressing questions! I did enjoy the service I received from most of the men (the first night I went in). I only had issues with the girl that claimed she was the "Manager/Owner" of the business... Uh huh... sure you are, princess! She was extremely unprofessional and refused to give me contact information for the "co-owners" of the business. She was extremely rude and kept making comments after she would walk away from me. I politely invited her to please say those things to my face or to not say them. She obliged!!! What a big girl she's growing up to be! (snark)
The short of this story, keep your recorders going and DOCUMENT EVERYTHING, you never know when it will come in handy with this place! H&H may be high priced, too, but I HAVE NEVER had poor customer service there.... EVER!!!!
This "mom and pop" business won't last if they keep treating their customers the way I was treated! News flash, it takes hard working people, like me and so many of my now very informed friends, to spend our money at your establishment to keep the lights on! Good luck and start getting your resume updated OR just start treating people right and with some of your integrity in tact!
Before visiting this establishment I tried calling several times to inquire about items in stock and no one would answer the phones. I visited the store and was greeted very poorly. I asked if they had a certain gun which they did and the price was marked up $175 over manufacturer and competitor pricing. When I inquired about the markup the sales guy tells me "we stand behind our prices and product take it or leave it!" Very rude salesman. I left and took my business to the much nicer Best Buy Guns!
I DO NOT RECOMMEND THIS PLACE. This is because of the poor customer services and the fact I just cannot trust the people that works there.
A co-worker recommended this place to me when I moved out to OKC. I shopped around and none of the other shops had the item in stock or could guaranty delivery. The sales people at GunWorld told me that their supplier had the firearm that I wanted and can get it in a few days. 2 weeks passed before I was able to pick it up.
So full story, I called the shop a few times and the same sales person told me that it’s been shipped and they’re waiting on UPS. After a week I thought I stop by the shop and see what was going on. Talked to the sales people there and ask them if they could give me a tracking number at least. Found out that the item was never shipped. A different item was shipped but nothing was done to fix the error. It took 3 sales people to call their warehouse and get the right item shipped. I was able to pick it up 3 days later.
To me, this is really poor customer services. Not only did the sales person who took my order lie to me about my order, but he also lied to his boss about me filling out certain forms. I had to fill out the same forms twice the day I went to pick up my item.
Suggestion to improve the store and shopping experience; Communication. Communication with their customers and also with they’re team. They need to be on top of these things. If there is an error with an order, let the customer know. If a promise cannot be delivery, let the customer know. This will at least build trust and let the customer know they care for their business.
I would not waste my time going here again. Their prices are outrageous! They want twice the price for a used gun as you can buy a brand new gun from the manufacturer. Almost all their guns are used. They will not quote any prices over the phone and now I certainly understand why! Their ammo selection is very limited and none of the major brands of the most popular self defense ammo can be found. Their ammo prices were at least double the price of every other gun or sporting store that I have been to in the metro area. The salesman dropped waiting on us when he saw an attractive, young female walk into the store. They do have some unique guns on display, but nothing I would ever buy since they are all at least double or triple the going price for any of them. They must hope for continued new customers that are clueless about normal price ranges for various firearms or ammo. to stay in business. It's run like a bad, used car lot and the experience is quite the same.
I would rate this place lower, but 1 star is unfortunately the bottom. The prices are nothing short of absurd. Their staff attempted to sell me an new ak-47 magazine for 80$.....they had a used one for 30$.... Given the fact that H&amp;H sells the same magazines for 20$ new it's a wonder that Gunworld is still in business. As if that weren't enough they have a generally poor selection of firearm accessories and a staff that is not particularly knowledgeable.
Its funny how its all either 1 or 5 star reviews and the person writing the 5 star reviews always has the same thing to say... If the employees didnt rate themselves on yp then it would be a solid honest 1 star review.
Now, as far as my experience with this store..
First, Im embarressed to say I even went here, its literally a joke in the gun community.(Just as Warren Metcalf is). You cannot shoot anything but handguns and .22 rifles in this overpriced range. They have a sign that says you cannot shoot 7.62x39 because someone snuck in 7.62x39 AP rounds. Well.. first of all it is retarded to deney all other because someone else made a mistake..yall should check ammo as everyother range does instead of just ban ammo... I also seen a sign a sign inside that said the were expensive because they only carry quality arms...hahaha...next to a row of century wasr's and hipoint carbines...wow. Last time I checked monkey made guns and pot metal carbines weren't QUALITY. You cant charge $200+ because you wiped the oil off the stock and receiver...
The employees are not helpful and seem a bit slow, they lady at the desk made me waste 30+ minutes of my time waiting in line to get a lane and then after I paid and was on my way into my lane i was questioned and deneyed my rangetime because of her inability to ask what type of cailber I was shooting. (.223)
Had to get in the back of another 30 minute line to get my overpriced fee back.
This place should be shut down or atleast move far far away...its a waste of space.
Love this place....its family friendly an a very good place to let off some steam or just relax or even if you just want to hav some fun at a very reasonable price. I plain on coming back an bringing my close friends an family so they can exsperince wat Gun World has to offer the public....Thanks Gun World!!

When my husband and I stopped by the customer service was excellent! The man that helped us was very nice, and gave us plenty of info. on the gun. We didn't know they sell guns too, we just thought it was a shooting range. We will be going back.
And P.S. the service was so good, I will gladly pay $4 more than the other range just to get the wonderful service.
