Grant Square Animal Hospital

Very dissatisfied with the new vet/owner of Grant Square Animal Hospital. I have taken my dogs to Grant Square for over 20 years, highly respected and valued Dr. Corneil the previous owner/vet, was very professional very caring. It made him no difference if he was caring for a new puppy or an aging one he took all measures to give the best care to each one. I miss him and his compassion very much! I continued to see the new vet/owner with my two dogs, I worked very hard at getting past his different personality and not compare him with my past vet, he is very passive and does not present himself as being very professional. A few months ago we took our 15 year old dog in with some issues, we were told more or less he's old and has dementia, he dismissed some of the things we were concerned with and showed no compassion!
Today we took our senior dog to a new vet only to find out our dog had liver cancer which explained why he had been acting the way he was, it was NOT due to his age it was the cancer killing him and causing the problems that Dr. Loudslager totally ignored and dismissed because he was an older dog. Today our beloved dog went to rainbow bridge, our hearts our broken!
Young or old all pets deserve the best care, be very cautious when choosing this vet or any vet.
The only reason I gave this a one star is because it was required some kind of rating, other wise I would given it a zero!

I love Grant Square Hospital. I recommend them to everyone. Good prices and when you really need them .....they are there. Never closed.

5 star I love Grant square animal hospital!!! they are the only professionals I trust my babies with. The employees at grant square are like family ! Dr. Loudenslager and some of his employees speak Spanish also, that makes me feel very comfortable when I need to talk about my babies health, and I am so in love with the remodeling they make to the reception and the waiting room looks so charming an inviting the place!!!

The new management is so professional, Dr. Loudenslager cares so much for his patients and clients. Very recommended to the Latino community also because they speak Spanish too.
