For young adults, car crashes are among the most common causes of traumatic brain injury, with sports injuries being another common cause. As one might imagine, people who play contact sports like football and rugby are more likely to sustain a TBI.

Unfortunately, in such a fast-paced environment, mistakes are more likely, and hasty decision-making can result in serious injury or wrongful death to patients.
