Dr. Andrea A James, MD

Let me start by saying that I gave her 1 star because you HAVE TO give a rating of something. I would've given her negative stars if that was possible.



This is the worst doctor I have ever been to!! I had to wait 1 1/2 hours AFTER my appointment time to be seen. The front desk staff is awful; they are so rude and combative if you ask why the wait is so long. They will not refund you if you choose to leave either. The doctor herself is so rude and doesn't care about the reasons why you are there to see her. I was a new visit and after waiting the 1 1/2 hours after my appointment time, she finally called me back and, without ANY background information (you don't fill out any background information at check in either), tried to write me 3 different prescriptions. I was literally in her office for 5 minutes when she started offering me pill prescriptions. I could not believe it. When I told her I wasn't looking to be doped up just for the heck of it she said, Then what are you here for? I don't get it! I was speechless. That was the most inappropriate, unprofessional thing I have ever heard. Needless to say, after I declined the multiple medications (which she couldn't tell me any information about, by the way) I was quickly, ushered out the door.



As far as privacy, this place is violating all kinds of HIPPA regulations. The door to her office during my 'session' was never closed, and a member of the front desk staff kept walking back and forth, looking into the session. The staff also has no problems discussing PRIVATE patient information with other patients in the waiting room. It was unbelievable!!



If you are looking fo real medical help, privacy, professionalism, and/or courtesy, DO NOT visit Dr. Andrea James (at either of her clinics....she has one in Moore and one in Norman). She is the WORST doctor I have ever encountered.
