Advanced Pain Management of Oklahoma

I have read some of the reviews and I must be going to a different Dr. John W. Nelson. Yes, sometimes his staff is a little flighty and doesn't always have a sense of urgency but that you find with many Dr.s office personnel. As far as Dr. Nelson is concerned, I have been under his care for almost 7 years and have nothing but praise for him and the care I have received from him. One of the first things he told me was that I know my body better than him and I need to tell him what my pains are. We have tried several different pain management procedures, some worked , some have not. I am in the process of slowing down my daily intake of pain meds and we talk about the effects it is having on my body each visit. The day will come when I no longer need to see Dr. Nelson but I will always give his name to anyone that lives with chronic pain. I have seen many Doctors in my 65 years and he is in the Top 5 for the care he has provided me.

AWFUL, AWFUL, & MORE AWFUL!!!!!!!! I hung in for a year but the office can be impossible to deal with AND Dr. Nelson did procedures which caused MORE pain. Plus, he was unreasonable to deal with concerning meds. No, he does not care if you are in pain, it's just a living.

don't go to this doctor. He actually said to my husband, "I don't care if you're in pain".
