I had luggage damaged that needed repair. I was instructed to take it to Kamber's. Prompt service, the gentleman was all business but great. Was under warranty, no charge, repair was fast. No problems.
I purchased luggage from Dillards. While it was under warranty two zippers broke. Dillards sent it to Kambers for repair. The person who called me about it was incredibly rude. He said that the luggage was worn out. I told him that it was only 6 months old and had been used twice. He said that it was worn out with a lot of miles. I said that it didn't wear well, but I didn't consider two uses as "having a lot of miles". He said that it was worn out and he didn't know why Dillards sent it to him for repair. I asked him if he was calling me a liar and he replied "that suitcase has a lot of miles. The wheels are worn out and it isn't under warranty". He said that I would have to pay $20 to have it repaired and $20 to have it sent back to me. I have never been treated so rudely and I will never do business with this company again.
