All American Martial Arts is one of the best Tae Kwon Do schools in Oklahoma in my opinion. It's not just Tae Kwon Do they teach you many differ thing's. They teach you how to do many different punches, strikes and kicks. The masters and instructors have been doing this for a very long time and they are very good at it. They teach you how to spar and how to do many different forms. you can get many different color belts and with every different belt you learn more and more. sometimes they will take you to tournaments, and they are very difficult but that can be a good thing because competing can boost you confidence, and sometimes you don't win but that just makes you want to work ten times harder. They teach you self-defense from getting out of: chokeholds, wrist-grabs, shoulder-grabs, and headlocks. Some of the most important things they teach is discipline and respect. There is a creed at All American Martial Arts that all the students live by: As a student of All American Martial Arts I will follow the principles of Tae Kwon Do COURTESY I will be polite and considerate of others INTEGRITY I will act with honesty and respect PERSEVERENCE I will face the challenges and obstacles of life with confidence, determination, and fearlessness SELF-CONTROL I will discipline my mind, body, and spirit in those things that will lead to a purposeful life. INDOMITABLE SPIRIT I will not let circumstances determined my actions or success. I will show respect to my instructors, and my school. Give my full attention, and Energy too every effort I make and I will seek to assist others. I am a student of All American Martial Arts, and this is my creed. All the teachers there say that even after you leave the school the creed goes with you. It's a really good atmosphere because it's not just students and teachers they treat you like family. I have been in the All American Martial Arts family for five years and I have not one negative thing to say about them.
I have found a physical activity that I enjoy and can do with my teenagers-I'm right there in the mix and don't have to watch on the sidelines. The instructors have been great accommodating different levels of abilities. They are very motivating with their positive encouragement. They help you set individual goals then inspire and push you to meet-and usually-exceed them. I think this is an exceptional place for both beginner and the hard core.
I urge you all especially ADHD parents. All American Martial Arts. Better than any pharmacy drug there is. 29th street in Del City. They have both summer daycare with classes as well as a after school program and pick up from school for the same price as regular day care. My son has improved so much since being here. He just competed in a tournament, his first, he won first in sparring and second in form.
I've been with the AAMA family for 2 years now. It's a wonderful family owned school. The takashima's are great masters and work very well at anyones learning level, even with learning or physical problems. They don't just hand out your black belt either, like other schools, you earn it with hard work and disapline that they instill into you. They don't just make black belts, they make masters.
Cuadra Brothers has been wonderful for my five-year-old. Their facility is clean and well-maintained. The instructors are very knowledgeable and truly care about their students' success. Cuadra Brothers isn't just about teaching martial arts, but also the principles of discipline, respect and confidence. I would recommend Cuadra Brothers to anyone!
AAMA is a great school for.anyone looking to become part of a family. Everyone looks out for each other and makes sure to leave no one behind. The example for students is "excellence" at all times. If you want the best martial arts instruction for your family come to All American Martial Arts....you will be pleasantly surprised!
My granddaughter has developed her self confidence and decreased her anxiety. Before attending Cuadra Bros, she was biting her nails and would get very nervous in situations outside her comfort zone. She no longer bites her nails and her anxiety levels are greatly reduced.
The instructors are very caring and knowledgeable. They know all the students individually, including their strengths and weaknesses. They work with them to improve any weakness and build on the strengths. It is a great place for beginners or advanced students.
It was the bomb! Mr. Takashima knows what he is doing and so do his kids. Be prepared to be trained by professionals not only older but younger as well. You can't find a better family run business. You'll enjoy it, give it a try.
All American Martial Arts is a great school. I would not want to go anywhere else. All the instructors care about my success as a student. All the kids in my class are like family to me. I wouldn't trade it for the world!
