I loved taking my daughter here. The ladies were very attentive to her and made us feel like she was well taken care of. The only reason we left was because of a move. It made us sad to leave such a trusted facility.
Only used them for drop in service a few times. If I ever need full time child care they will be my choice hands down.
Come be a star here at Future Stars Learning Center, where your children can explore, learn and grow.
DO NOT TAKE YOUR CHILD HERE. The teachers here are not educated enough to deal with children. The 3 year old classroom has gone through 3 teachers in the two and a half months my son has gone here. They are constantly over on ratios, and apparently allow infants to be in the same room with 3 year olds because we got "talked to" about my son apparently hitting a BABY in the eye with a lego. Why was there a baby in the room with him in the first place? They couldn't give me an answer. Another child was cussing and hitting other kids, and the teacher told me "we don't write up reports unless another parent sees." Good to know. My son went to school perfectly fine, I picked him up around 5:15pm and he had a busted and swollen lip. NO ONE could tell me wat happened and kept trying to put the responsibility on another teacher who was already gone for the day. These teachers do not pay attention to the children at all. I picked my son up early and they were playing outside so I stopped at the window to observe. Three teachers were in a huddle talking on one side of the playground while the kids were doing whatever and wherever. I watched another child push a littler girl off a tricycle and not one of those teachers in the huddle budged. We've picked up my son multiple times with wet underwear and shorts because he had an accident because NO ONE was paying attention. They are obviously not observant either because they didn't bother to change his clothes. There was one occasion where there was DRIED poop on his butt and in his underwear. Not a small poop either. The fancy "precious status" app they rave about during your tour... yeah it's great...if they would ever use it. We are rarely notified of anything during the day and they never take pictures. We also never get any artwork or papers from them. Because of this we feel like he just goes to this school and plays around all day. No learning involved. A curriculum is non-existent.
great daycare great employees. convenient..for me.my kids enjoy it. They also have head start which is great.
WE absolutely loved this center when our children were there. They are now school age and with a sitter for the summer but I will continue to take them for breaks when school starts and also next summer!
The staff at Kid's Village is capable and caring. My child loves to get to go to school. She is three years old and is learning many of the basic primary skills. I appreciate the opportunity for her to learn how to make friends and play appropriately.
I have had my children at Little Shoes Learning Center for over three years. I have never had a problem with the teachers/staff. The facility is always clean, welcoming, professional and it has a home-environment feel. There is always communication between the center and home. Children are sent home with daily sheets which report diaper changes/bathroom usage-for potty training, daily activities (what is being taught-letter C, Number 9 etc.), items of need (extra clothes, diapers, etc.). Additionally, parents can follow along on the Center's private Facebook page, where pictures of your children can be viewed (permission from parents is obtained prior to pictures being posted). There are 3 large storm shelters- this is a necessity in Moore, OK. The children are always engaged in activities at every age. Infants finger paint and bring home adorable parent keepsakes. Older kids work on letters, numbers, colors and skills needed for preschool. All children are learning various skills while playing and the children are introduced to different languages. To respond to a previous post, my children have come home with bites, scrapes, bruises from falls, etc. but each incident was documented and I was informed each time and given complete information on what happened. There has been times where the teacher on-duty did not have all of the information I was asking for but I was able to get in contact with the teacher that was on-duty to get the answers I requested. Video cameras do show each of the rooms so that incidents can be reviewed if necessary. Kids are going to be kids; part of growing, learning, and playing involves getting a few unavoidable bumps here and there. The teachers are not neglectful and they do care for the children they are watching.Little Shoes Learning Center is my children's home away from home. They are comfortable, learning, socializing, and being cared for by loving people. I go out of my way to take my girls to this Center- I won't change.
I do not recommend this place to anyone. My childs doctor even mentioned this place is being investigated by DHS & himself does not approve of this place. They have had issues with DHS in the past & have been fined by them for mistreating a special needs client. They act like such kind people, but when you really get to know them, you realize its all smoke and mirrors. The manager at the Quail Pointe location, Andrea, is completely unprofessional & hung up on me when I was asking about the well being of my child, wouldnt talk to me over the phone and demanded I leave my job to speak about my son. I am honestly disgusted with the integrity of this facility & recommend elsewhere if you are considering it.
I absolutely LOVE working for this childcare facility. Such a nurturing, secure & relaxing environment.
