Trying to work for them is pretty hard when they don't have any orders and what they do have is spread out between too many drivers and the pay for the work you do get is an absolute joke.

Our experience was horrible, one of there drivers brought a dumpster to our school, he proceeded to back in while we were loading Special need kids. He almost hit a bus, and some kids. We asked him to stop and wait, he refused. We called his company, they were very rude and said he didn't do anything wrong. This is a horrible company to deal with and very unprofessional.
Been buying homeowner type stuff (bird seed, sunflower seed, chicken scratch, straw bales, etc.) for years, and won't go anywhere else now. The young man that owns/runs it is an honest, hard working dude. Service is great, in and out in minutes, he always loads my truck for me, and treats me right every time. Prices might be a little higher than the box stores or Tractor Supply, but the fast, friendly service at Dawson's is definitely worth the difference. Cheaper ain't always better!
Have requested Numerous times for them too stop throwing their "TRASH" advertising in my yard. They promise to stop but start throwing again.I was a daily subscriber for years until they couldn't get the paper delivered timely if at all, they can't get the daily paper delivered, but have no problem throwing trash in my yard!
Very poor service, sent a package to my great granddaughter for my granddaughter and paid extra for the package to get 1 day service, UPS put the wrong sticker address on it and then refused to deliver it until the following day leaving my little great granddaughter without a birthday present for her birthday, they said they did not care and would deliver it tomorrow, but they lied on the reason for not delivering it today, they said the recipient said they would pick it up but that was a lie cause they were talking to us and we are the purchasers of the gift not the recipient, we contacted Amazon and they were not happy about it either, WE never said we would pick it up as we are about 1000 miles from where the package was to be delivered to. Worst service I have ever had and I will not be using them again for anything that I will be shipping, I used to use them all the time cause I could depend on them, but the workers they have do not care and will not go out of their way to make a customer happy, Even the post office will hand deliver a package personally when it is suppose to be delivered on a certain day and fed X is good about getting packages to the person when they are suppose to be also, but never again will I use UPS for anything.
Drivers stay away they will take money out of your pockets work you more hours then DOT lets your work.The owner even worked his wife so hard she had a heart attack they could care less about your safety oh no insurance and benefits. Its just a matter of time till DOT SHUTS THEM DOWN.
Was driving on the highway and something flew off their truck that was going at least 75mph and hit my windshield.I immediately googled the company name and called them while I was still driving behind them and the guy on the phone looked up what truck it was and came back on the phone to tell me OH it was just an empty box. Like it mattered what the object was at all? He then told meI was obviously driving too closely to the truck and that is considered "driving too closely." Well the trouble with that theory is that there was another vehicle in front of me so there is absolutely NO WAY I was driving too closely. He then said well how do you know it didn't come from that car? Probably because it was a van.He was extremely condescending to me and said well call your insurance company and they will get in touch with our insurance company. No remorse no apology no NOTHING. No concern at all about their speeding truck and the objects flying out of it!!!!
these people cant give a straight answer to save their life. I called and was given three difference answers in the same call. Its always a guessing game on which shipment actually moves to the final destination and which ones are still at the origin point. Don't like to respond to emails and calling them is like talking to some random stranger and not an actual company employee. Do not know why logistics is in their name as they don't seem to do anything logically.
This is the worst company ever to work for, the General Manager is horrible, and they steal your money and overwork you. They say $200 a day in pay if you work, but then the owner changes his mind and doesn't pay you what they say.
Do your research, they are never on time. Managers are unprofessional. I have to give them a star because you have to give them at least one.
