This hotel is rated as 3 stars which is a total misrepresentation. I found this place to be very unclean, I had to bring a manager to my room to show him the restroom and carpets had not been cleaned and had a bad odor from this floor. The heating and air shut down at 9:00 pm awaken at 2.00 am from too much noises. Appears to be a house of prostitution, not for families.
Filthy bathroom, totally gross. There were leftovers from the last guest in the toilet & tub. I called & they did nothing. They ruined my anniversary.
Very clean room, staff at front-desk very cordial. TV worked better than was expected. Although room was very cold upon entry, turned on the heater, and it worked great. Bed was very clean. Do not understand the previous bad reviews. If they are true, then it appears the staff took pains to totally resolve the past issues. Would return, no problem. Price was fair, also.
I've been waiting close to seven months now for a custom order of shirts. And, while the wait time is above average, this is not outside my normal dealings with Q. Since beginning to shop at the store in 2016, I've probably placed around two dozen orders, and to my knowledge, every single one has come in with something wrong: from needing minor alterations to having been made completely wrong. I'll start with shirt orders, because those are the most commonly messed up items. Q's clothiers pride themselves on taking full measurements and having your card on file so that everything should always fit the same way. However, I've had short sleeve shirts come in with sleeves with more than 3/4 of an inch difference in length and slope from one side to the other, added inches to the bottom, and plackets on sport shirts that magically went from 9 inches to 11, making them look like oversized bibs. Button counts on short sleeve shirts have magically changed, as have proportions. Templates have been lost, necessitating remakes on multiple occasions, and I've even been asked to send a previously made shirt to their factory so they could see how they made it before. Turn around time is normally 4-6 weeks on shirts. I'm now hovering at over half a year. The shirts have been made wrong 3 times, and compensation or a refund was never offered for these.Speaking of a refund, if they mess up an order, don't even think about asking for one. I previously ordered two jackets, and about 10 weeks after not receiving them, I found out that after being promised they were on their way, one was never ordered because the fabric had been depleted. I went back and forth with two separate employees, including the general manager, FOR TWO stress filled weeks regarding a refund, and when I finally thought it was settled, I was informed since the order had been placed so long ago, commissions had gone out, and it would be easier to pick something else.I will say this, I was comped a FUTURE jacket, but this is just another example of the endless mess that is trying to get a correct order from these guys. While I was in-store working on my comped jacket just this past week, another gentleman came in asking about sweaters he ordered A YEAR AGO and never received, and I personally have two other friends who have shopped here and dealt with this same level of run around. I've ordered ten pairs of pants, and each pair had to be tailored - not something you expect from an expensive custom pant. What I've most enjoy about Q are their jackets, which, in my experience, rarely come in on time. The fabric selections are amazing, when they wind up being in stock - though in my experience, you don't know until many weeks after you place an order and pay in full, and I've experienced linings being out of stock months after placing an order and having to rebuild.Bottom line, the fabrics and price points are decent, but the service, timing, and follow through are all awful. What's the point in ordering a Spring wardrobe in March or April if it doesn't arrive until September, because your CLOTHING factories don't know how to make CLOTHES?Spencer Stone and Steven Giles have custom clothing, as do many new locally owned stores. Give your business to them. If you need suits at a decent price point, call a Tom Jones rep for Holland and Sherry. The mental strain you'll save will be worth it. And you'll get what you paid for - and on time!I will say this: a store employee once made some very bigoted and homophobic remarks in front of several customers, myself included, and she was let go over the incident.... several weeks later. I do applaud them for that. However, they really need to get their chain of command and factory workers in line if they expect to stay in business in the Oklahoma marketplace. Apologies are wonderful, but after a few dozen times, they become empty words. I'm hoping they can eventually make those words mean something.
It took me 30 minutes to check-in. Once I received the room number, I found the smells of the hallway too be unbearable. I was placed in a room without bedding. The maintenance worker came to switch my room. The AC in the new room was not working. After two calls to the front desk and an hour and a half, I decided to leave the hotel and went to request a refund.
The room was great and front desk was very nice. I was a little disappointed with the build your breakfast. It was very very limited, cereal and bagels. I was hoping for a waffle machine.
Have stayed there several times! Always a pleasant experience! Plan to stay there again when in Oklahoma City!
This is one of the best accessible rooms by far. From the location of the room to the wonderful bathroom. It was so nice we opted to stay another night.
I am speaking from several years worth of stays, in this review. While I have the freedom to choose any hotel, in Oklahoma City....I always come back here. This hotel provides what is important to me...Friendly, accommodating staff, spacious clean room, with a good bed, high quality towels, cold a/c, and warm heat...which you may need both in one weekend, in Oklahoma. Great hot breakfast, that runs 4 hours. The night desk clerk, Paul got me checked in, lightning fast,, as usual, the other female night clerk was friendly and quick in accomodating requests during my 4 night stay. Glenn is a smiling face during the day, who never fails to make my stay more comfortable. In defense of this establishment, concerning a recent customer review....In 5 years of multiple night stays, I have not encountered anything to suggest unsavory practices, by the management here. Also, as far as having a ceiIing fan in the room, I sleep with one on at home, so I see that as a plus.. not a negative....as one guest cited. I'll definitely stay here on my next trip to OKC.
We were a little uncertain when we approached the hotel, as the area looked a little rough. we realized during daylight hours that it was more to do with roadwork than anything else. This hotel was great value for money. The staff and owners were very helpful and pleasant. Obvious effort has been taken to make the rooms nice.
