I have had cataract surgery in both eyes. One of my appts I sat here 3 hours after my appt time and no one said a word. When I finally received my prescription for my new glasses I was hit like a ton of bricks. Since I have Medicare I had to go back to them for my glasses since my doctor is only contracted thru them. Not happy at all

Get my annual eye exam with them every year and I always get the clearest Instruction and the friendliest service, the techs like Janet are great. It’s always a pleasant experience!
In late 2016 and early 2017 I had two eye surgeries at the Dean McGee Eye Institute in Oklahoma City. A mistake I wish I could undo. If I ever have eye surgery again, it will be somewhere else.
Our family has had several surgeries here. We are pleased with the staff, procedures and environment. WONDERFUL PLACE, AMAZING PEOPLE
This experience cost me an extra $225!! Dr. Lyons checked my eyes twice and both prescriptions were wrong. I couldn't see a darn thing out of either sets of glasses and the lab tried 5 times to get me correct lenses. When I told them who I went to they said no wonder. They have had problems with everyone who goes there. Pretty bad when your lab says that!! He flies threw the test and when I said wait he kept going and didn't care. I finally went to another eye doctor and he got my script right the first time!
Dr Latimer is amazing with children and great all around. Friendly staff. Been going here for years.
Let me preface this by saying that Dr. Greenhaw is a sweet man, a nice enough eye doctor. However, if you make an appointment, you should not have to wait for over an hour to be seen! Then, the front staff are extremely unapologetic about how they have absolutely wasted your time, and not concerned that they have lost a loyal customer. I have gotten my contacts here for awhile and it is consistently bad. I have a pt of patience. I also work in Healthcare, so I understand when the staff is having a bad day, so I gave it time. Also, for the past 2 years they have had this TERRIBLE ringing in the office, like tinnitus x 15, that you can't get used to. Like, fix that already! The frame selection is limited as well. People, go SOMEWHERE ELSE. Don't waste your hard earned money here.
I was treated here for a retinal tear. The retinal specialist was excellent, I will not go see another doctor as I have had great care here. In an emergency I was admitted and treated for a tear within 45 minutes of walking through the front door.Routine follow-up visits have been typical of most doctor offices with sometimes long waits (have to handle those emergencies).
I've been seeing Dr. Womack for about 3 - 4 years now. He's a real professional who always has his patients interests at heart.
I made an appointment and drove a long distance. When I arrived, they claimed I did not have an appointment and would not see me. The secretary was VERY RUDE. I asked her to ask the Optometrist if he would see me and this appeared to make her furious. He agreed, and then rushed my appointment so quickly he misdiagnosed my prescription. NO ONE SMILED the entire time. The staff there are not nice people. I ended up seeing another doctor and I am out $69.00. NOT WORTH IT TO SEE THIS DOCTOR.
