When it comes right down to it the cost is much too high for the Internet speeds delivered. Had an outage 2-3 days ago. Still out. Called to find out about how much longer it would take to be back up. Was advised "not much longer. Internet will be back up in no time". Asked if I could get a real world estimate on up-time and he said, and I quote, "only a couple more days"!? Seriously???? Unacceptable UPDATE: MAY 24th (about 6 days out). Called yesterday and no idea how much longer. I have my doubts they're in much of a hurry. FYI TO ALL CURRENT CUSTOMERS: CALL AND REQUEST YOU BILL TO BE PRORATED FOR THE DAYS YOU'RE OUT! Was told on the phone that they won't just do that but that you have to call!!!UPDATE: May 28th still out. $43/month for less than 3mbps and still have to deal with this.
Very bad service, treat customer without respection.They told my husband they will call me to schedule appointment. Instead they called me and order me to be home in 30minutes. I told him I worked 30miles away from my house, it will take 40 minutes for me to drive home. After I arrived home, he already left,. The supervisor told me they can't schedule appointment for me, they will notice me when they are on my road and they can't wait. Dear Oklahoma Nutural Gas, Do you know I have job need to do? Do you know I have to reschedule all my other business to follow your order. You even can't call me ahead? You are really super power master.
There were mixed reviews about the Atlink service, but we have had this beacon type of service before and knew there were risks with this type of service. There is a chance that distance or a poor line of site can disrupt reception.We contacted Atlink and within two days the service was installed. The beacon receptor was very small and attached to a vent pipe on our roof, which was appreciated.We paid for the $40 service and so far the service has been phenomenal. We have picked up excellent reception for both internet and Netflix. Only during the recent very severe stormy weather we have experienced here in the Bridge Creek, OK area, was there one short drop of service. In our case this is the best service have had in recent years. Certainly better than the much more expensive Cox service we have had up until now.
They bought out our previous internet service provider. The only reason we had it was because AtLink showed up after we complained numerous times that the internet service we paid for we were receiving less than 10% of the speeds we were told we would receive. They showed up to our house when NOBODY was home, ripped the dish down they had installed and left it in our back yard with zero notice from the owner of AtLink or any of their techs. In fact the dish is still sitting in the back of our lot and it'd be great if someone would come and take it away. Furthermore, it seems that AtLink has their hands in the pockets of the council and in doing so has limited most rural residents of Piedmont, OK to only one provider, them. Lastly, after giving a fair and honest review on their Facebook page they promptly blocked me. I might add that I posted clear and obvious evidence of the poor service being provided.
DO NOT get an apt or house in Oklahoma with gas utilities unless you truly can afford to pay whatever amt of money. Yes their customer service is awful. F is their grade. Just get total electrical unit. Please stay away from ONG and save yourselves!
Worst company in the world to do business with. Poor customer service and raises rates by the day. Errors on every bill.
Same experience as Susan. Horrible customer service. Very disrespectful, rude, and impatient. They are you're only choice for gas service so what can you do? nothing! and they know this! They take the extra step to make your life miserable and make sure you stay that way. They use unknown caller IDs which will make a lot of phones not ring when they're calling. They let the phone ring ones and hang up, if you can't catch them during that few seconds when they call, they consider it "you didn't pick up" and cancel the appointment on you. I tried to call back and tell them to put a note in there where if my phone didn't ring to have them just come over, they refused. They won't do anything for their customer even if it's just putting a simple note in for the technician to just go to the property!! I told them I took off work to wait on the technician and they still wouldn't do it. "It's either call or go, you can't have both". At my job time is very valuable and ALL I wanted was to have them call me before they come that way I have a guess at how much time I need away from the office and they can't do it!?! Very frustrating experience from the get go. From set up they told me the previous owner still had the gas on and they didn't have to turn it off just transfer, moments after we hang up they call me back saying the technician TURNED OFF MY GAS during our call so they'll have to SCHEDULE HIM AGAIN to come by and DO A SAFETY CHECK because it's regulation. Thus, the start of our nightmare trying to get on this technician's schedule to come. Extremely frustrating! Terrible customer service! They absolutely REFUSE TO HELP YOU
