Hired them this year to clean HOA pool.worst service we have experienced in 20 years. Many complaints from residents that pool was dirty, even after being serviced.Could not depend on the when they would do weekly cleaning. Several times they would just not come clean. Pool dirty for weekend was not acceptable. Bad communications with office and tech.

I've trusted my pool and patio needs to Thompson's for more than 10 years. They not only have great integrity, they care about you as an individual…
Horrible service. Take several weeks to get them out. Then the owner says he cant fix the cover and will send a tech the following Monday. Two weeks later after several calls they tell us they are waiting for parts. What parts are you waiting for? You don't even know whats wrong with the cover. We play along and let them think we are OK waiting for parts. Finally a month after the first visit they tell us will see you at 9am. Its 12Pm and still a no show. Sorry buddy your crap service and inability to do a job will not fly here. Now that you have earned your first one star review I am sure other people that are fed up with your bull**** will leave you some nice feedback as well.
Mike Zachritz of Lifestyle Pools recently settled his criminal tax evasion case with the Federal Government by paying money only (for back taxes, fines, interest) and thus avoided federal incarceration. This case is distinct from the Oklahoma Tax Commission case which shut down his business. In this, earlier, Federal case he was pocketing his employees' tax with-holdings instead of sending them into the IRS, then showing the money as properly withheld on their pay check stubs. When I read in the news that he got off without jail time, It occurred to me that he was obviously paying his financial penalties with money stolen from you and from me, basically allowing him to go on home scott-free. Let's not allow this to happen when his state-level troubles are finally wrapped up. Below I have pasted an e-mail I sent to the Attorney General's office today requesting that the courts be enlightened, in the state case, to the ill-gotten nature of the money Zachritz will be likely using to pay his penalties. Hopefully the courts will recognize that his simply breaking-even financially would not be sufficient justice. If you agree, please e-mail Mr. Dan Prykryl, who is our contact person at the Attorney General's office, at Dan.Prykryl@oag.ok.govAnd I hope you all have fully recovered from whatever crisis Zachritz' dishonesty may have wrought upon you.Mr. Dan PrykrylOklahoma Office of the Attorney GeneralDear Mr. Prykryl,I am writing to you in connection with state proceedings, ongoing within both the A.G.'s office and the Oklahoma Tax Commission, against Mr. Michael Zachritz, of Lifestyle Pools (Oklahoma City). Zachritz recently disposed of criminal complaints at the Federal tax level by agreeing to pay money only, avoiding incarceration. You have note of several homeowner complaints against Mr. Zachritz, pertaining to money accepted for swimming pool projects never completed. I am writing to note to you that financial penalties in the state case, alone, will not offer justice to these victim homeowners: Zachritz will simply pay the sums due with the money fraudulently obtained from his customers, break even, and drive home. Would it be possible to get this perspective before the court as Zachritz' state penalties are deliberated?
Well... we've paid our large deposit for a pool and since doing so have had to chase this company down to even get something scheduled for an install. After MANY, MANY attempts to speak with the owner, Ryan, we just keep having to leave messages and no return calls. I'm hoping that he will read this review and might tempt him to return customer's calls. We are not quite sure how a company can stay in business this way. We will probably have to fight to get our deposit back and go to another company that you can count on to get something done or even get a return call. I couldn't give a "0" rating but that's how we feel right now! Can't rate service past getting no service at all!!
Do not EVER do business with Johnson Pools - hands down the worst customer service we've ever received. They originally came out to do a free quote for a new pool cover. All was well. Quote went fine, but wasn't the lowest bid we received for the product and so we chose to use another dealer.Fast forward a few weeks and we had an issue with one of our skimmers and decided to call a company to come out to blow out the lines. We chose Johnson Pools. At the time service was requested, my husband also mentioned that we would be calling them back in the future for help closing the pool, but NOT UNTIL we had our new pool cover in place. I was home the day of service and after it was completed I went to check on what had been done and lo and behold they had also closed the pool. I talked to my husband while he was at work and he had to call and explain their mistake to which they agreed to come back and "undo" what had been done.Fast forward a couple more weeks and we receive a bill in the mail for...you guessed it...blowing out the line AND closing the pool. We immediately called them to point out their mistake and ask that the charges be removed from the bill and we were met with a defensive woman on the other end of the phone who insisted that we were wrong, there was simply nothing she could do about it, the charges were NOT going to be removed and that they were payable immediately. After more back and forth she finally agreed to speak with her boss about it and told us that she would call us back with a solution......Fast forward a couple MORE weeks (yesterday) and we receive another bill WITH A LATE FEE included. We call AGAIN and speak with the same hateful woman who continues to argue on the phone that their company did exactly what they were asked to do and that we owed money for all services rendered. The back and forth continues and my husband explains that she agreed to talk with her manager and he wanted to know what the outcome of that conversation was - her answer - "I did speak with my boss and he says that we can reduce the amount of your bill, but if we do that we're going to charge you $90 for coming out to give you an estimate for a pool cover that you never bought from us"......WHAT?!?!?!?! So let me get this straight - because you made the mistake of performing a service that we never requested, our options are to pay in full or retroactively pay you EXTRA for a FREE QUOTE that was given MONTHS ago. You've got to be kidding me.TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. We will NEVER be doing business with this company in the future.
We love Leisure Time and the people who work there! We bought an above ground pool and a hot tub last fall. They helped us every step of the way and always answered our questions quickly. They gave us a great recommendation on an installer who would bury our pool and build a deck around it. We buy all our chemicals and other products from them. The staff is always very friendly. They treat us like family!
started using them after a horrible experience with a one man operator. mistake. he put in a heater that leaked water 7 months later and pentair would not warrant it as they said they only leak if water chemistry is wrong. errrrr. so called these guys. 8 months later they are real pros. honor commitments. put in a new heater that cost the same as the R2D2 pentair. wow. they keep records and can see your pool history... ok, yeah it is going to cost you some, but it beats buying a new heater, pump, etc.,. i trust these people. my raypac makes NO noise as it heats.
I called today to get a quote, the woman was rude, and said they charge a 68.00 service call to come out the first time, plus 45.00 an hour.... I told her the pool has had a serviced and just needed regular cleaning. She said "that is what is is". I told her that didn't make sense. She hung up on me..That should tell you what kind of service you will get....
We purchased our very first pool in August 2014. We were concerned that we wouldn't know how to take care of it. Leisure Time helped us every step of the way. When it was time to winterize, we went in and they gave us a sheet with clear instructions and went over it with us step-by-step. We love our pool!
Avoid this company. I ended up filing a BBB complaint due to them. After 7 weeks of dealing with them i went direct to the manufacture of the problem part to get it fixed. Cardinal Aquatech Pools told me the part was not under warranty and i needed to re purchases the items threw them... Going direct the manufacture replaced the item under warranty. NO me pushing the issue etc. Very dishonest company to deal with. Many unreturned phone calls etc. Buyer beware.
