racist owners called a female customer the N word on their official Facebook page. They have also been very rude and accused innocent people of stealing.
Overall above average compared to other beauty supply hair stores in Oklahoma. And they never push you out the door when they are closed. But instead tries to help so we can find what we need faster.
That old asian lady needs to have some manners treating customers, very rude she said she doesn't have what i want i was trying to look for other things she kept on saying she don't have it without even listening to me or trying to help or look for the stuff i felt was getting kicked out and her tone of voice was so rude i ended up leaving all what i was shopping for in the counter and took off not good for the business and i will never go back over there again
So Im not the type of person to complain about much but in this instance I would like to speak my mind. I have worked in retail for years and feel as though I have a very good understanding of customer relations. Because I get such unruly customers I have come to appreciate the sweet regulars that come in. I honestly look forward to them . I have been a very loyal customer from day one and I have easily spent 2,000 ad probably much more here. Today, I was unfortunately disappointed by not only one of the associates but the whole team. Now its no secret to me that they have a high tendency to stalk their predominately "colored customers" and I've come to accept that this comes with a very nasty stigma of being a "thief" and they naturally look down on their customers. But regaurdless of that I have always gone out of my way to great them when I come in and ask them how their day is going . But, sadly this particular instance gave me a change of heart. Granted, I didn't have drivers license with me for a debit transaction and that was a fault on me , never have I ever been asked to show my I.D. Unfortunately, I didn't have this with me . But I work next door and I was completely dressed in my uniform with my name tag containing my last and first name. I was also able to provide not only my social security, utility bill, insurance card and my online accounts but my overall presence as a very familiar face. This changed nothing. Not only did she deny me service but her coworker proceeded to almost snicker at the occasion. I was also stared down the entire time while shopping which was extremely uncomfortable. This just reminded me of my place within their world. "A walking wallet". Customer retention isn't in their agenda or overall customer relations. They could honestly care less about you. They want you to buy and leave. In conclusion, I will probably go back because it is convenient but I have no problem taking business elsewhere. I also have no problem coming back on here and noting every event that takes place after this. JJ, you need to redirect your focus. I understand you have some very unruly customers but lets face it, that's retail for you. In the mist of the day, remember the customers who look forward to coming in and not only brightening their day but yours as well. Also, stop treating everyone like a thief. If you are going to it at least be more discrete with it. So if you want to be treated like a thief, stalked, unappreciated, and a nuisance I would recommend personally this place . They all have master degrees in it! (except for the nice one with the colored pony tail) Happy shopping ! -Sincerely, A very unsatisfied regular.
Tried this place for the first time. I usually go to seven so I never even knew this place even existed. The place was nice and clean, also had a lot of cameras like the other beauty supply stores. Unlike the other places it sounded like they actually cared what I was looking for!! The prices were fairly decent. Would gladly recommend this place to anyone I know!
The people who work their are nice...but the Chinese lady their is mean.She has a bad ways. I asked for help, but she was talking to her worker in the store beside her about her personal business in her language.. I waited 2 whole min...she tried to ignore me..them she looked at me and said WHAT DO YOU WANT!! She made me cry as I left the store.the item I needed she said with an attitude ( its over their). She has been rude for years,that is why my customers never go their.. I do hair. She may be nice to you in front of the black workers that work for her, but in front of her people she nasty woman. I buy items from her all day...I may just start ordering on line, also I see her being nasty to other black people in the store that buys from her. She treats white costomers really sweet,respectful, she worships the white people, I guess more white are welcomed. She does this in front of my kids!!! Teenagers, and even they noticed!.. Ooh well
I give them a 1 out of 5....They are not helpful,they will jus sit at the counter and stare at you,they will make you feel uncomfortable...they never have anything im looking for, and it be the simple things, they are tooo expensive,and is never willing to go down on a price,,I do not recommend this beauty supply store to anyone,,,I will recommend a beauty supply store,and that one is Mid K on 23rd st.I spend tooo much money on hair and hair products every 2 weeks averaging out 80$ to 100$ every 2 weeks ,so if JJ beauty supply dont want it I sure will spend my money else where,w where my money will be appreciated...#jj beauty supply is worthless# Dont Go There, They Only Wants To Take Your Money, They Dont Appreciate They Customers....

I recently had an awful experience at Mid K beauty supply. I asked about a specific product and was given the wrong one from an unaware employee. There are also no refunds on hair extensions so I am unable to take this back.When I called the store and informed the manager that I was misinformed by his employee he seemed unconcerned and never offered any solutions to assist me. I am extremely upset because I believe it is very important to hire a staff that is familiar with products and supplies that you are selling. Especially if you have a very strict return policy. I do not recommend this company by any means.
Been here several times and truly feel like the owners care.1. Not many beauty supplies do any returns but they try there best to do what they can given the circumstance and break policy rules to make you happy.2.They know exactly what they have in the store and what they sell they will tell you if it curls or not and also tell you if its 100% TRUE human hair (The lady in the front told me that a certain hair would not curly even though that it said it was human hair!!) Many beauty supply stores just try to sell sell sell but these people here are truly honest people that want you to be happy and try to carry things that you would like!3. The store might be called ebony but it really has everything for all ethnicity you people that go to SALLY'S ARE WASTING YOUR TIME AND MONEY!! They beat there extension price by minimum of 20$ easy!! Soooo cheap compared to sallys its ridiculous.4. Overall this store and there products are just honest they are not there to just sell to you but to really make you happy and find what you need and its the biggest store beauty supply store in Oklahoma!!
