They changed my prespective about home health care. My husband had hard time, not just physically. He was upset that his body is giving up on him. But these nurses, they did an amazing job. They babied him and built his confidence. Now we go for our regular walk. I recommend these girls for anyone. His ortho and primary dr. is very impressed too. Thanks for all help.

I have been calling this company since October 2016 to provide in-home care for my mother. I've been told "they were waiting on paprwork to be completed., Last week I received a call that they had the paperwork and had a PCA scheduled this Monday. No one showed up Monday so I called them, No response. Tuesday, no PCA. It's Wednesday and I will call again. I will probably have to change health care companies.
My father is dying of acute leukemia. I came to be with him through to the end. I signed us up for hospice and chose Choice based on a recommendation from his doctor. It has been over two months now and we have hung in through numerous disappointments because we are reluctant to spend the time and energy right now in search of an alternative and worried that a switch at this critical time would not only entail the necessary hassles of administrative paperwork, but in the end be no better, or worse. We have encountered repeated examples of a lack of interpersonal skills, lack of professionalism, and even a simple lack of respect. After two months they are still sending new nurses which has set perhaps an unalterable rapport in which my father will probably not interact with any nurse now except in the most hospitable and superficial way. It is a bother to him now that they come twice a week. I have more to say, but have limited space here. Basically, don't go with this one.

IF YOU LOVE YOUR FAMILY MEMBERS AT ALL DO NOT LET THESE PEOPLE TREAT THEM! MY FATHER HAD TO BE RUSHED TO THE HOSPITAL BECAUSE THE NURSE FROM 1ST CHOICE DIDN'T NOTICE HIS BLOOD PRESSURE WAS ELEVATED! THIS IS SOMETHING THEY ARE REQUIRED TO CHECK BUT DIDN'T BECAUSE THEY DON'T CARE! WHEN I CALLED TO ASK WHY THIS WASN'T CHECKED THE MANAGER NIKKI SAID "I DON'T KNOW WHAT YOU'RE TALKING ABOUT, AND IT'S NOT MY PROBLEM." YOU'RE THE MANAGER EVERYTHING THERE IS YOUR PROBLEM!!!
Absolutely horrible. They supplied an apnea monitor for my new infant. They gave us disposable sticky electrode leads (which they bill for 3 times as much as the reusable leads). We went through a month's supply of the sticky leads in less than two weeks. When we finally got them to switch to the reusable leads they billed us and our insurance for leads and wires that we never used. Their customer service is horrible. I would not recommend them to anyone. Any other medical supply company would be better. Unfortunately, we weren't given any option because they were the contracted supplier with the hospital. Avoid them if you can.
I was promised a refund of 144.00 which I pre paid for my father a sitter while I got out of the house. He passed away and we did not use the hours we paid for and they told me I would get a 144.00 refund. Over a month later I am still waiting. I called today and Wes told me, after discussion on what was taking so long, that my 144.00 is not as important as the 2 and 3 thousand dollars they owe other families. He also informed me there is a 25.00 refund fee for them to cut the check.
Choice Home Health sucks ... They tell you that someone will be there to do your laundry and they never show up ... This has happened 3 times now since I have been with them and that has been a week now ... You call and try to find out what the problem is and the manager makes excuses ... I will today fire this company today and go find another ...
I have a friend who is using this agency to take care of her mother. She has reported many times on the employee that comes, or should I say that half comes to her home. The employee doesn't come at least one day a week and has many different stories why she is not showing up. The employee finely shared that this company is not paying their employees their full pay each week that many of their checks are short and when they inquire they are threatened by someone in payroll departmentso now the company has sent out another employee to take care of my friend's mother and it seems to be the same issue going on already I really believe that before you use this company you might want to check into it and if you are currently using this company you might want to inquire with the employee what is going on because many of them are not showing up because they are not being paid properly and this is really sad because when they are going to eat to see they are being told that as long as they paid you it can be late as long as they pay you its ok but the problem is is it doesn't stop you from getting late payments Orjudgements against you due to you not being able to pay your bills on time and that is very sad
Unfortunately they fail to properly explain "minimum service costs". For instance if only 24 hours is ordered for home phototherapy this is what happens "we like to go ahead and set up payment arrangements for two days" you give credit card info and they start billing. After the 24 hour order has completed you are informed that "even though we are only charging you for one days nursing visit we HAVE to charge you two days worth of equipment because that is the way the code works". I understand how HCPCS codes work and this is not true!
