Fantastic Spuds. Service was good. Food is excellent. Pleasant place to be. I'll be back many times.
I eat here often, I've always enjoyed the family atmosphere and fast service. They always get my special order right since I'm a picky eater and are great with always being right there to help or get you a refill. Everyone is always so nice.
The food was amazing, loved the river view and the secret sauce for French fries. . I will v visit every time I go back.
Great place to have lunch when the weather is nice out. The foot is good and the restaurant couldn't be closer to the river.
My kids gave me a gift card for my BIRTHDAY, so the wife went to breakfast on Tuesday Morning at the BLACK BEAR DINER at 366 E. 12th Street in Ogden, Utah. Instead of having Breakfast we both lunch. The wife ordered a Patty Melt W/ French Fries and I had the TRI-TIP DIP 10" sandwich which come with French Fries and Cole Slew and both meals were great value for the size and $$. We went the following Saturday Afternoon to have lunch and ended up eating Breakfast ! The had the PATTY SAUSAGE breakfast the comes W/ Two eggs any style, Strip style hashbrown or Country Red Potatoes with a homemade biscuit that was about four or five inches square and four or five inches thick. I had the CHICKEN FRIED STEAK W/ Two eggs any style, Strip style hash browns or Country Red Potatoes and a homemade that was four or five inches square and four or five inches thick ... By the time we were finished with our meals we couldn't eat another bit. The food is great and well worth the money ... I would recommend this restaurant to any looking for a good setting and great food is the place to go at is at the BLACK BEAR DINE on 366 E. 12th Street in Ogden, Utah or any of the one from Ogden to South Salt Lake City ... Horay for the BLACK BEAR DINE'S
Super yummy milkshakes that live true to the name of the restaurant. They all are filled over the top. Delicious!!
My mother and I had a great lunch there a little while back. One of my favorite places hands down. The options and various ways to have different potatoes were almost overwhelming.
First time here, out with friends. There were ten of us and our waiter was Paul with amazing beard. He was courteous, efficient, and handled our party of ten wonderfully. Food was good, my god the size of the clam chowder, baby ba k ribs and meatloaf, holy cow! What a great place.
This place could be so much more than it is. Billed additionally as an add-on to Comfort Inn. They even give you FREE breakfast buffet tickets, you would do better across the street at McDonalds. At least Mickey Ds eggs are not made of rubber. I also had the Ravioli off the dinner menu, ick. Don't know whether the chef is brain dead or just lazy, what a shame.
Food is fair, prices are outrageous, owner is very judgemental towards customers & employees both. Night cook (Sonny) is extremely rude & disrespectful towards all he comes in contact with. I don't recommend anyone waste their time or money here.
