One of my favorite places to eat. The filet with jalapeño sauce is badass.

I'm not used to having Japanese food prepared by native Texans. Not that it's a bad thing, just that it's a bit 'different' to have a guy over six feet work the grill.\r \r Had the Sake Bomb, but the beer glass wasn't big enough to put the beer and sake into it at the same time. They really ne…

We had a great time, great food, and great service. Cody was an excellent chef. The price was very reasonable for this type of restaurant. I suggest you call ahead to avoid a wait.
I have eaten all over this great country and this was by far the worst I have ever had. There was no showmanship by the 18 year old Mexican hibachi cook ,the price was high, and the service was very poor. By far the worst tasting habachi I've eaten, but on the bright side the sushi was good.
Asked for a Cajun style basket that came with chicken strips catfish and shrimp, got 2 measly little chicken strips 3 puny pieces of shrimp and about a pinky size slice of a catfish. It didn't taste so bad but it was not worth 15$. Will not be returning.
Tonight the service was bad. My husband ordered soup & salad. I ordered a grilled chicken salad.. The waitress brought a large salad to him. I waited & waited. He finished his salad. I asked the waitress if they might change the way they serve so that both parties could eat together. I knew the bowl of soup could be eaten in 5 minutes while a chicken salad could take 30. After explaining to the manager that I sat for 15-20 minutes watching my dining partner eat while my dinner never arrived, the he asked if he could get us something & said he would check on our food. I saw him 10 minutes later across the room working with one of his employees. He never came by to tell us when it would be out, neither did the waitress. I waited 40 minutes for a grilled chicken salad & when it finally came out with the bowl of soup, my husband ate the soup in 3 minutes & I was eating alone for 30. Bad service, very bad management!! We will not eat dinner at Salt Grass in Odessa again.
La Bodega Mexican Restaurant has a great menu. I highly recommend.
Monday night visit with my older siblings, Bartender/Server Justin was awesome, although short staffed and pulling double duty, not only did our drink orders and food order come out at a decent time, not one of our menu items was cold or lukewarm. We ordered quite a bit of food. Justin also helped guide along the new menu options and steered us in the right direction. We'll definitely be back. That is all.
They have the best nachos! We love their food and try to go a few times a month.

My wife and I had our first date at La Bodega. A few years later, I proposed to her at the same table we had. We love the food and have so many great memories there.
The salsa here was delicious and had actual spice to it! The guacamole is excellent too!
