Bienville Animal Medical Center

This is a wonderful vet. All the Staff I have dealt with are very nice. Dr. Palermo was recommended to me when my pet rat "Possum" became sick. The day i called he was in surgery so they set me up with Dr. Randall. She told me, although she has seen rats and was very familiar with them they were not her specialty. She told me she believed he had heart disease but we also went ahead and treated him for phonomia also just to be safe. Dr. Randall was very nice and spent alot of time with us. unfortunately Possum did not get better. A month later I brought him into Dr. Palermo, deep down knowing that I would be putting him down. I just wanted a second opinion that there were no other options for him. I can not say enough good things about Dr. Palermo. He is the most compassionate vet I have ever had. Not just for my rat but also for me. He gently told me that Possum would not get better. and since the medicines we tried did not work the kind thing to do would be to put him down. Thru the process of this Dr. Palermo told me this was the hardest part of his job. He hugged me and said he was so sorry and I would be in his prayers, and I believe he was very sincere. I later received a card from him reassuring me that i did make the right and kind decision. I highly recommend Bienvelle, they will definately be the place I take my animals to from now on. Most of all Dr. Palermo for his knowledge and compassion.

I love this vet! Every time we have taken one of our two cats here, whatever problem there was was quickly resolved. The doctors and staff are very friendly. It can be more expensive than other places, but I believe it's worth it. I would definitely recommend going here!
