Ok I am going to break my rule: if you can't say something nice don't say anything at all. I have been on a quest to search out restaurants that will accommodate Alana's gluten free diet.. Well I found one and I was happy. It was Roma's Italian restaurant on Hwy 27 west of I 75. Ok they had a good gluten free pizza and they had pasta that was corn. Taste wise it was ok. Overpriced on the pasta a tad. You don't get to pick your kind of pasta you get what they have and there is a $3.00 upcharge on it. Ok, I'm still ok. So we get three meals with drinks and I added a pizza so we could try it. This for lunch. Drinks were 1.95 a piece. As we were paying I asked for a to go cup. That's when it got ugly.. They said no. I was flabbergasted. I said you are kidding me. We had lunch with a 55 dollar bill and you can't give me one cup to go. She said sheepishly I'll ask. You could tell if wasn't something she agreed with.. Well the owner comes to our table and proceeds to school me on the fact that he can't do that because everyone would want one and that costs too much money. I couldn't believe it. I told him are you kidding me, I just spent 55 dollars in here and you are going to tell me this. Well I got my drink, but I am not going back there. What an A......! That cup may have cost 50 cents but probably cost like 10 cents. What an idiot!

So I am finally getting around to writing a review about my experience at this Olive Garden. I went to dinner here with a female friend just before Christmas last year. The first issue that I had with the service was our waitress whispering to some customers atthe table across from us. How rude! The next problem was that they were "all out" of the after dinner mints! I have eaten at a lot of Olive Gardens over the years and that is the first time that that has ever happened.
We have been to this restaurant many times. I have never witnessed any rudeness on any ones part, from the employees to the owner. We have received very good service every time. Everything I have eaten has been great. My husband loves the thin crust pizza but the Fish and Chips are very good too. Coming from Wisconsin we are used to going out every Friday night for fish. The fish at Roma's is the best we have found in this area.
Good subs, but too many employees made it feel busier than necessary. Really don't need more than 4. Griller, slicer, add ons, cashier. The wrapping could easily be done by the "add ons" employee. Hopefully this gets smoothed out after being open for a few weeks. Expect a slight wait if ordering a hot sub. Strongly recommend ordering online, though the official app is nearly worthless as of this posting.
Their wings are the best I have ever had. Others I have introduced to them say the same. I took my sister there and she ordered the sub. Took one bite, gave a bite to her husband and asked "what is that flavor?" Their sub dressing is amazing! Their house dressing for salads is amazing. The prices are reasonable and the service is so friendly. I have never had a bad experience there.
Best pizza in Ocala hands down. If your from the big apple this is the place to go. I've been looking for a pizza joint since I moved to Ocala over 25 years ago and I finally found one. They have everything for pizza, wings or traditional italian food. Highly recommend this place
I tell everyone, this is and has been for many, many years the BEST pizza in Ocala. If you love REAL pizza, not franchised, cardboarded and factory pizza, you will love this. Gaspar Lorito opened Lorito's 40 years ago and hasn't stopped since.
Abio's has the greatest pizzy around, and the pasta with meatballs are so GOOD. You can't go wrong eating at Abio's. The atmosphere is not much to look at but the important thing is the food and you will enjoy the food.
Great place to eat!!!!! been living in this here for10 years and is the best New York style pizza around in our opinion , Great thin crust good cheese and they also have some good specials through the week.
Ive been going there 38 yrs best pizza anywhere Gaspar is the best. Worth the drive from anywhere in the state.
